A story I read almost 10 years ago and still vaguely remember. There was a toxic relationship (uke treating seme poorly) and family drama. Both are in high school. Uke is something of a damaged delinquent and acts out. After a lot of drama and angst, the couple finally escape together but in the process the uke steps on a rusted nail, gets tetanus, becomes delirious, and dies or almost dies.
I've had an inside joke with myself about tetanus booster shots ever after reading this, but have never since been able to find this series. Has anyone else read this?

The art style is certainly one of the few artists I adore and charmed by. Simply losing myself within their tender features that is so lovely, I cannot resist the urge to soak up the soft expressions which fill me with peace or longing. Silly as it may sound, a reoccurring thought surfaced while admiring the artist's expressions. The thought of experiencing or have someone look fondly at you the same way this artist expression drawls out. The shyness, longing, and tender expressions, it's beautiful and clumsy. Something I wish I could capture on pen and paper or even convey these infatuated expressions toward a person one day.
