The first time I read this, I was in love with it. I thought it was great, but we weren’t that far in, but I wanted to see more. Reread, I’m trying to notice hypocritical the people who are supposed to be the “good guys” are. Everyone hates the female lead’s father for neglecting her and never paying attention to her in a way that is becoming of a good parent however, the doctor does that to the green haired man. He says he gave him second chances again and again, however that’s not true because he never actually confronts him. He says something extremely vague and act like the message was perfectly conveyed. “I think of you as my own son, but you can’t stay in your parents embrace” but hates FM’s dad for never embracing her but he never really welcomed him in because he still has very prominent trauma that roots his life, and if he was truly his parent, he would help him through it.

The only reason he does, the thing he does at the very end is because he was thrown away by the man who was supposed to be his father.

The male lead is also kind of awful He constantly makes decisions for Karina and presents them as her own.

I do want to applaud this for even going there because a lot of other manhwa would just make it very black-and-white so the fact that there’s a little bit of nuance is excellent, but doesn’t mean it’s immune to criticism.
