nah yeah, i get ur point entirely; author gives major degen and fujo (derogatory) vibes, majority of their other works are just pure het smut and yaoi which just really translates into this story. there is a lot of potential for it to be something more comprehensive and deep, but i guess the author is either not capable of that type of writing or they just chose every wrong plot decision ever- seriously, its not worth investing any time into this because its just gonna go downhill into an ending that nobody is going to enjoy.
