i watched the live action on netflix years ago and decided to rewatch recently. idk how i did that with a straight face back then cuz i couldn’t stop cringing i decided to drop it and finally read the manga since i never got the chance to and wow it’s so much better in my opinion. cute fun light hearted story that doesn’t take itself too seriously. a rlly good read honestly im pleasantly surprised i enjoyed it this much. the live action added too much extra drama and stuff that wasn’t in the manga for no reason so i didn’t like it. also was cringe seeing antics that are so obviously only meant to be cartoonish jokes acted out by real people i prob would’ve liked it more if they just made an anime instead of the drama but oh well this story is old news and prob won’t be picked up anymore. a shame but a very cute read so i liked it a lot

author created such an intricate plot with a political war between 2 princes and an undying plan to absolutely capture the lion liege to work formally under royal command but just skipped it all and made it end i loved the fleshed out characters of the lion liege but i wanted more. it felt like there was no clear villain in the story which sucks especially in that one very detailed panel with a blonde prince that planned to take the lion liege for his own goods. i was so excited too seeing that panel because the contrast was so beautifully depicted. the lions were in black with a dark background while the royals were in white and gold with a shining background. rlly wished to see that war pan out and also the process that brought yvette to go through an official knighting process. would’ve loved a “forced to be apart” arc where the two maybe thought about each other for support and wrote letters and what not. idk. story had amazing art and incredible potential but just fell so hard out of nowhere at the end??? i liked it so much it was abt to be on the list for some of my favs of all time in this genre but ig the ending just rlly RLLY threw me off i’ll give it a 3.5/5 stars in my books just for the disruptive ending alone but definitely could’ve easily gotten a 5/5 if it was fully fleshed out. wonder if the author got tired of the story

seonhee is my favorite in this whole series since she’s so realistic. i had a bf a few years back who was everything i couldn’t be. incredibly smart, varsity basketball, very attractive, and very popular. i always felt like shit standing next to him bc i couldn’t keep up with all his achievements. seonhee is way too real for that. i was so embarrassed because no matter how hard i tried i could never be smart

i forgot his name but that blonde pretty boy actor that was all up in dan and jaekyung’s business just completely got erased from the plot everyone is making valid theories for the future but i feel like no one remembers that blondie. idk i feel like he might come back to help push along whatever sad attempted romance story is trying to be made. or maybe he’ll be dan’s savior who will help him get back on his feet if he rlly does get kicked out of the team and house like ppl are saying will happen.

related by blood or not even if he is technically not even a step brother but a “step cousin” or whatever, they still need to live in such a family dynamic under the same house idk why they have to be in this sibling dynamic like if he was just a delinquent underclass man she suddenly meets then it would be easier for me to ship her with him but for now i really wish the second lead doesn’t have to get hurt i like the second lead more
art is cute but story is boring and characters aren’t fleshed out at all. don’t rlly like the male lead either. maybe i’m too old for this now that im 18 but it’s probably something i would’ve enjoyed in middle school when i was first starting to read shoujo ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
