so is this always going to be how mc interacts with ml? cause he seems more like her lackey more than a love interest. his character is so uninteresting and even if he develops to the point where he has more depth, if their dynamic is always going to be mc telling him to watch like a good boy and him blushing then i'm sorry to say this story's handling of the romance genre is very bland.
tbh i find the original female lead has more chemistry with mc lmao i mean, mc is so macho and yuri is so soft and girly, that'd make such a cute yuri couple...
I agree, and thought I was the only one to not see any romantic chemistry between MC and Blue wolf boy. She’s his savior and treats him well , but like a child. And that’s just not romantic. I’d rather see her with the asshole red headed werewolf because their interactions were hilarious and had more sizzle to it This webtoon is so unique in how the ML’s can’t stands or are indifferent to MC for such a long time. It’s certainly refreshing.
yeah i was thinking the same thing when i typed that, which is why i thought about it and, aside from a personal bias towards shipping girls of mine, the reason is Nine's gotten so much screen time yet he's still so plain to me, while the female lead has appeared only a few times yet every time she gets screen time i'm so excited, hence i'm eager to see her interactions with mc more
i personally like nine a lot because he's shy and kind of plain. in other similar stories, the mc is always super powerful and arrogant. it's a breath of fresh air to have the female lead not be overshadowed and i'd rather have a plain ml to contrast against the other 4 crazy dudes. but, it all comes down to personal preference. i think a yuri couple would be cute but i'm not really into the dynamic of a macho girl and a feminine girl together. hence, i prefer nine and melissa. it's just a preference tbh, cheers to more yuri screentime in the near future.
i love how this manhwa doesn't shy away from pointing out very toxic societal problems that their very patriarchal country has, esp considering its audience is mostly girls. it just adds so much more meaning and proves that chick lit done right can really influence the way women (in a male-oppressed society) think--which is so damn refreshing to see
gooooo my blueberryyyyyy go and steal hari's heart dammittt
