The point is, is she didn’t say “yes” instead of “she didn’t flatly say no”. And that’s a bullshit excuse of sexual assault and rape, too. If you took a date rape drug that made you too incoherent to speak, would it be fair if someone told you “oh well you didn’t flatly say no... so it’s not the same thing.” You can say she didn’t face the same emotional trauma and disillusionment that comes with more extreme cases of rape and sexual assault, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t experience them in the first place.

No there is a difference there are multiple times in the story where the gym owner was acting up and was trying to cop a feel but she put a clear stop to add in the fact that she and the gym owner are friends and this seems to just be part of their relationship. In the case with the mc, she has expressed multiple times that she was interested in him and wants to sleep with him and she was in full control of herself and was not impaired with alcohol she could have stopped it at any time and it would have ended at that. I love this comic. The author showed the guys predatory behavior amazingly. It’s people that don’t get the message and say “well she should have slapped him away” or “it’s not rape imo” that leave a bad taste in my mouth. Consent in this comic is a great part of why I instantly loved it and also that the author is calling out date rape and coercion done by that scumbag.
