I don't like Ria's relationship with Ahin. It feels way too rushed. Like they met once when they were children and barley talked. Spent like two weeks together and now he wants to marry her? He barley knows her! To be honest I ship her with Havel because they also met as kids but spent a lot more time together than she did with Ahin and now in the present she has spent at least 3 months with him. I know she ends up with Ahin but personally it feels rushed and not real but hey. What can you do?
I also see a lot of people ship her with Asisi but I don't. I don't know if they are related because I remember them just explaining that Asisi was the mistress' son but they never said that he and Catiel were brothers and he was raised by the mistress' husband instead of by the emperor and shows absolutly no signs of being related to the royal family at all (no rose gold hair and no red eyes) and I know that some kids do not have the genetics but from the siblings and children of the royal family that we've seen, they have had one or the other or some type of variation of it. Like how that one chick's son a darker shade of rose gold hair. But even if Asisi and Ria aren't related I don't think i would have shipped them just because Asisi is literally the same age as her father and he literally watched her grow up from a baby. Its too weird for me to get behind. I'm barley behind Estelle and Emel from 'I am a Child of this House' and they are way closer in age.
Ok, can someone please explain to me how Anakin and Iris are (supposedly) related. I thought that they shared the same mom while having differnt dads (Anakin coming from their mother's pervious relationshiop and Iris coming Duke(?) Forrest...so if Grand Duke Oscar is her actual father...shouldn't her and Anakin still be related? Were they actually supposed to be related on their fathers side and I got confused or is she adopted cause...they originally had different fathers to begin with, her father being somebody else shouldn't stop them from being related.
Annakin actually comes from the previous relationship of the marquis, so like at first we thought iris and him had the same father, so half siblings, but now it's revealed that the grand duke could be iris' father, so they're not blood related

FL just remembered that Ains is the villain and the Crown Prince and Elisha(?) are the main characters right? So...what now? I mean, does she have a plan? Cause it seemed like she just thought being the best mommy in the world was the way to solve the problem but after the latest chapter, it seems she thinks that she has to do more....but you haven't been thinking that before. So did she just start going with the flow, got lost in her own world and hoped for the best instead of remembering the story before. And now that you do remember them what are you going to do? Are you going to try and make the prince and Ains buddy buddy? Because as you can see, thats not happening any time soon. If it does, as she said, Elisha would just break them apart. Are you going to try and make Elisha like Ains cause if so, thats a bitchy move of splitting up a perfectly happy couple because your son 'wants her.' And what if that makes the Crown Prince pissed...then you just made a new villain! I understand wanting the best for your child but are you really about to ruins someones life because because your son couldn't understand the word no before?! I would hate that if thats ok with FL and would drop the story fast.
Another thing I realized...the FL knows nothing about this world does she? It seems like she been trapped inside her bubble of being mommy to Ains that she has forgotten that not only is she a nobles wife but a noble herself and there are certain things she must do. It seems like she is so focused on Ains that she has forgotten everything else in her new world. This infuriating to read because it seems like she has no idea what she is doing! At least try and read an etiquette book to try and act like noble when you go out...sigh I really don't like the FL
Yea I agree but I don’t completely dislike the FL, I actually kinda like her. Honestly she’s just been reincarnated as a grown married woman with a step kid, so she hasn’t had time to adjust. And in her past life she probably didn’t have experience or good experience in being a family, so I just try to clench my teeth and cut her some slack. I think if her character wasn’t portrayed in a way where it seemed like she was just plain ignorant instead of curious on how to live, I think I would like her character more.
And most of the story so far has just been with her and Ain eating. With most Isekais I see, the story is full of confrontations and conflict that allow the MC to adapt to their environment. But if they spend the whole to eating and being coddled by their new family, they’re not gonna be the smartest I’m just sayin. “Don’t scare her” and the like isn’t helping. Maybe she needs to be scared. But she doesn’t seem to handle extreme emotions well (*cough* *cough* the duke) so that’s a 50-50.
I thought the same thing as well with chapter 21, I was rlly concerned with the way it seemed she would try to approach it. I hope nothing bad happens. If it does, I might be real upset to let this go because I believe it has potential but things aren’t looking bright.

So, I have a question about the ending of the manga. I know that the Emperor only takes Paul as a concubine but I thought it was a mutual agreement. As in, the Emperor wanted to be with Paul but Paul didn't want to be the Empress so they compromised with Paul being a concubine so that they could be together and Paul wouldn't have to worry about Empress' duties and still be herself. I haven't read the ending myself and thats what I thought happened but everyone in the comments here are making the Empreror seem like a bad guy. Like he didn't want to make Paul the Empress and made her settle for concubine. I really doubt thats what happened because its not like his character but everyone is making it seem like he forced her into this situation and it wasn't a mutal agreement which is not like Paul or the Emperor. It just doesn't make sense. I, like everyone else, would have prefered if he was only married to Paul but even as I started this manga I always thought, "Paul would be a weird Empress" because it doesn't seem like a role she wants to play.
All I really wanna know is if this was a mutal agreement or not because there is no way the Empreror would want to marry someone other than Paul unless he had to and I know Paul wouldn't want to be an Empress. So all of this hate that he is getting for making Paul a concubine and marrying some else to be Empress seems unneeded. Like I doubt he married the chick for love, and probably just for show. I can imagine their relationship like the King and Queen and the late consort of the King from 'The Black Haired Princess', where the King only loves one but the other is there because of political reasons but they all get along. If you can explain it to me, I would be very thankful.

In the novel, the emperor always expressess, complained and be sad about how 'he cannot have the woman he loves' (which is Paul). Because he knows that he cannot bind her with him forever, he wants Paul to have her freedom to choose whoever she wants to love or to marry. Honestly, I sympathize with Lucius I, because despite being so powerful and being the emperor, he cannot even have her as his wife (prolly coz of political reasons and thinking about wanting Paul's freedom to choose). As I've read, you can see the struggle, restraint and pain he's been through. I mean, yes, I'm mad with the fact that if he wishes to make Paul his wife--- he can! HE'S THE FREAKING EMPEROR! But he choses not too. I'm like, "Dude if you could just confess then maybe, just maybe there's a chance for Paul to fall in love with you!" It frustrates me tbh. I'm not yet done reading the novel but I've seen spoilers abt it. I think it's a mutual understanding, coz Paul is a warrior- A KNIGHT! And tbh i want her to be just the way she is, just the way she WANTS. And yes, it's kinda bit weird to imagine my dear Paul as the empress, i think I prefer her in the battlefield
It would be nice if Paul and the emperors wifes would get along nicely together...
