I know this is probably victim blaming, but the sub got treated the way he did coz he was a jerk, like if he wasn't so cocky on being the warden, maybe things would've turned out differently. Also that talk about the parents was uncalled for, like even if he was a bad person, talking shit about what could be the lowest point of his life is wrong.
But then again, it's not like suzuhara was a saint. I'm not gonna vouch for the man, but my respect for him is way higher than the cop.
