Dude, yo but srsly, when first picking up this story I was really looking forward to it because it had such an interesting plot, and then it all kinda just self destructed and the outcome had more of a twisted Harada story feel to it. No matter whether you think it was truly rape or not (and don’t get me started on that again) there is no denying how unsatisfactory and almost ridiculous the outcome of this story was, where Oono was literally manipulated and bullied into a “relationship”. To add another rotten cherry on top the seemingly nice girl turned out to be crazy too.
The only reason I was so worked up is because while it wouldn’t have been some masterpiece to preach about, it would have made a really awesome story if Oono had realized his feelings on his own, and Kure had not done what he had done (you know what I mean) and the story was toned down to friendly teasing rather than manipulation. I get what the author was going for but instead of charismatic, popular, and witty, Kure turned into more of a sly, abusive, and almost power hungry character feeding off of Oono’s own weakness. It just got too messy, and too twisted, and I wish there was a shorter way to put this all out but this just really worked me up for some dumb reason. This story really could have gone a lot better even within the same chapter length.
Wow I love the unique set up for this omega verse story (axa) I haven’t seen it before, even tho I’m sure this isn’t the first story to do this. Though my only prob is that not much is really utilized with this scenario tbh, i with/hope that in the later chapters it could get a bit more in depth with the omega verse aspects? Idk I just feel like this story could take place without the omegaverse setting in the background, like just as a regular bl story (except for the small marriage arrangement factor).
Like introducing an omega? Or maybe a scene where both/ one is in heat but it’s a difficult thing to solve because both are alphas? Or even like, if this authors universe has the whole, nape bite-mark thing, how does that work?
Tbh I’m not very fond of the omegaverse, but I do like the variety of stories it could offer, something like this should be played to its best, I feel.
(Also I rlly rlly love the art lol)
You'll see that soon
But in a way, using two alpha instead of normal men is a good idea. Alpha are know for being manly and usually top in relationship while omega are the opposite, feminine and frail, as in yaoi stereotypes happens.
It's actually an interesting mean to show how a normal couple should work, without any girly uke and super manly or aggressive seme. Author need to be clever to be able to tell their story but also captivate the readers
I think i get what you are saying, a problem i do have with the omegaverse is the use of gender rolls in same gendered couples (tho technically not same sex? cuz alpha beta and omega are often translated as sexes...). So this scenario does utilize the elimination of gender rolls, i already thought the axa plot was a good idea. I hope thats what u were trying to get across?
It looks like pregnancy will be a thing in this one, that'll probably push home the omegaverse aspect. I also agree with Eva about the AxA scenario being awesome/breaking gender roles, but i'd like to kind of expand on that by saying the counseling goes REALLY well with the AxA concept since it allows us to see the real knitty gritty mental aspects of a relationship between two inherently dominant/masculine men. It's going to be a treat seeing Takumasa open up more to the possibility of bottoming, i love that the urge "to fuck" is still very much there in him while at the same time he feels good giving in to his urge to "be fucked". I'm hoping this'll be some seke! Lets get some switch action going on! Wouldn't it be interesting if they both got each other pregnant? Like whoever tops first gets the bottom pregnant and then later on in life the other wants to top and the previous top gets pregnant? Then they just take turns? Great artwork too, like so good. ヾ(☆▽☆)
AHHH this storyline is so good. It had such complex feelings, and (at least to me) reasonable misunderstandings.
I get so tired of crazy drama that has so much factors to it, just for the sake of drama.
This drama was mostly just between Duk and skyler’s relationship. And their relationship and it’s development felt genuine. Skyler had a fair reason to be angry at duk and duk (while misunderstood) wanted just to care for someone he loved. But it’s all working out and I’m CRYINNGGG it’s so good!! Obviously this last part with duk moving away is probably just a final home stretch (like a final test in the plot to skylers feelings) and hopefully it will work out okay.
The only issue I had was the art work, but that got better over time as it usually does, but one thing that didn’t is skylers hair which looks so stupid I can’t get over it (I’m talkin abt that huge lump at the top of his head, like wtf)
Also it’s interesting the way the story deals with abuse, but imma not get into that or else we’ll be here for a while
You sum up everrything I was thinking about this manwha !
a man like you sucks
Lol okay I fuckin loved this manga, and I’m abt to reread this,
But I’m going to shit myself cuz and it’s really dumb but I can only hear the little dude’s voice in my head as eric cartman’s from South Park.
Feel free to kill me
omfg hahaha....this is gonna haunt me
I was just about to comment how this pairing reminds me of Creek except their roles are switched and Craig isn't such a tsundere xD
