The ending was super rushed and even the author mention they had planned a ton of stuff for the end. I would've loved to see more story about Jieun and her backstory, the knights who worked with her and Allen’s story while he was gone, But until the end I didn't see any of that. The story was good at the start but very quickly lost its purpose, it went from Arista Working hard to escape her destined death to a romance comic between two of her bestfriends, i dont dislike the idea but the whole story revolved around the idea that she was killed and abused by ruve and is now fighting against the destined death she had in her past life.
Ruve on the other hand, although I see why some people think that he’s changed therefore its fine and that we shouldn’t exaggerate. It is not fine, the mental and emotional abuse Ruve gave her in the past really left a mark on her as we see in most of the story. In my opinion I hate the fact that she worked so hard to leave and be free just to be sucked into the hell that she hated so much, everything she worked hard for in the whole story was thrown away all in that little moment. If the author wanted to make her and Ruve work, She shouldn’t have made Ruve her abuser. Its because of the fact that he was the abuser that this whole story fell apart and lost its value. Its bittersweet to see Arista work so hard and go through all that pain for nothing.
Then again this is my opinion, I respect everyone else’s opinion on this manhwa so i hope you respect mine as well, have a nice day.
