As much as i can see that he truly cares for Adele, its not a reason for him to suddenly become a dick and blame everything on the grand duke. As Adele said herself, She wants this and is nor being dragged into this by the grand duke. She is merely doing this to fight for her freedom as a human with her fiancé. I dont see the reason why jean doesn’t listen to her and belittle her words, As if adele would lie to her childhood friend. She proves that she wont lie to him on their first meeting as adults, therefore jean really is being unreasonable.

He has feelings for her that swing a certain way but not enough to make him actually like her enough for them to be dating, and in a time where he’s busy in school work and trying to beat the older brother of that small brat he has no time to be in a relationship with her BUT this is definitely a chance for the future, its gonna take a while but they’ll grow closer together somewhat since she’s the only character that we see with him the longest.

She isnt annoying not at all, we all know that. She just seems way more childish since Arthur's mental mind is of a king, mature and always precise with his deductions but when it comes to her she’s still her mental age because she didn’t reincarnate, But to be whole fully honest shes more mature than most people her age.
