Ok wait Imma just say it cus I’m confused. Does this mean Navier and douchebag had sex before????? Because otherwise I thought their marriage was completely political and built on platonic trust. This kinda puts a spin on that and idk how to feel about it and it makes the fact that he found trashta even worse. If they were in a purely platonic relationship I could at least see a sliiiiiiight bit of reason as to why he is looking for a romantic partner.

can someone please tell me why the uke doesn’t just pay off his debts and stop seeing the tattoo guy?? He’s obviously unhappy why is he just complying with him instead of just paying it off.

I think it’s because the uke still doesn’t fully trust the other guy. I mean the guy came into his life out of nowhere and treated him kindly so he’s probably still skeptical about him and he doesn’t want to be in debt to a person a second time. Personally, I wouldn’t use the money to pay my debt either if a stranger just gave me money. No one knows what their true intention may be

So I completely binged read this story tonight LOL since the artist’s new work got updated. The story really reeled me in in the beginning but am I the only one who sort of got lost by it in the end? I don’t doubt that translation errors and transferring from novel to webtoon likely cut out parts from the story and details that may have added onto it, but there are a few things I didn’t really like in the end?
SPOILED ALERT BTW
Such as, I really didn’t like MC and the Doctor’s relationship during the ending. I was fine with the doctor imposing himself on the MC and them being completely adorable and trying to find happiness even with everything going on. But I didn’t like the fact that they ended up having sex and the way things developed.
The MC doesn’t seem to really be in love with the doctor. He likely cares about him and feels grateful, maybe with a little bit of romantic feelings attached.he seemed to want to keep his distance from the doctor and not really advance their relationship as he doesn’t plan on getting treatment and trying to recover despite everything. And he is obviously still struggling to get over the cheating bastard, so why would he want to entice the doctor to have sex with him? I also understand him wanting to repay the doctor back in some way with his body due to his lack of self esteem, but I feel like it was even more selfish of him to try and have a sexual relationship with the doctor if the point was him not wanting to have any strings attached. I feel like a better ending would’ve been them just not having that sexual relationship and just trying to be happy and enjoy each other’s company while they still had the time to do so. Or, the MC decides to try and move on from the Ex completely and start receiving treatment in the end. He wouldn’t be over the ex completely, but he wants to try and move on to a new life with the doctor, even if with treatment and everything the MC still ends up dying. I honestly would’ve been pretty annoyed at ukes like the MC, but honestly for the most part I really sympathized with him and wanted the best for him. It’s just near the end I felt like it might’ve been rushed? And he sort of fell out of favor in a way? Like there’s not really much growth and it hurt to see him sort of just get worse and worse. Though I don’t hate him for it or anything. I wished he had a happier ending :(((
Also idk, I also don’t know why the seme even chose to cheat? Would’ve really liked an explanation as to why he even chose to do something so stupid in the first place, especially if he claims to love the uke so much and is obviously having a mental break down after the uke dies. But I guess that’s just cheaters, not all of them have a good reason, they’re just assholes
I really liked that the seme got what he deserves in the end lmfao. Wait for your grave alone bitch

I felt really bad for Charlie because he was manipulated, but after the end of the firsts season I kinda lost my empathy for him. He’s kind of a jealous shit for dragging Hyungdo into that hell hole. If he wanted to get revenge on Gyung that was a different situation, but he just couldn’t accept that Hyungdo got what he couldn’t. I feel like Hyungdo had every right to be aggressive towards Charlie when he was the first to threaten Hyungdo lol. Charlie stayed by choice and was relatively taken care of other than his own self harming. Hyungdo was basically tortured for months.
Also Hyungdo is a big idiot for falling so quickly for Gyung despite all the red flags, but I’m pretty sure all of us have been there at some point LOL
Especially people who lacked affection and warmth their whole life, its easy to be attracted to someone who cozies up to you when they typically seem distant and cold to others. This is basically a “I can fix him” bad boy type of situation. And it’s been stated that Hyungdo obviously isn’t the brightest when it comes to his emotions. He’s pretty naive and to an extent innocent enough to believe in Gyung and sign that dumb ass contract. Plus, the mans is hot and got money FYI this would never happen irl so don’t settle for no one and never sign any contracts lmfao

I AGREE WITH ALL OF THAT. But the contract man... that's what got him into all this abusive forced prostitution shit, because it's what made him 'belong' to the club. Hyungdo's kind dumb ngl.
And Charlie, too. I felt sorry for him up until he went batshit crazy. He chose to stay, while Gyung made next-to-nothing in efforst to keep him there.

Signing a contract for a relationship is never a good thing zzz
Hyungdo was beaten, raped and tortured for months. He was starved and treated just absolutely inhumanly. For him to still be able to move on despite all the trauma and pain it caused him from being stuck in that hell hole for nearly 2 years requires unbelievable strength on his end. Though, I guess since he’s struggled all his life, he might be a bit numb to it by now as well.
I’m assuming Gyung also seduced Charlie and made him sign a contract, but then proceeded to sell him off to men. But the thing is, Charlie was well paid, taken care of and attended to. It was a fucked up situation, but not as bad as the situation Hyungdo was in. He even decided to stay in the end, although due to his obsession with Gyung, loving him but also hating him to death. It would be totally reasonable if he directed his anger at Gyung, but I don’t think Charlie could be redeemed from what he did to Hyungdo, nor are his actions well justified. I wanted Charlie to run away with the secretary or something, or maybe have his own story away from Gyung. But now I’m hoping Karma comes back to hit him in some way.
I’ll miss you translator :(
