Han had seen Shinwoo at the same "place" but it was someone else who took Shinwoo home. And finally, Shinwoo has somehow gained security (even if I'm a little uneased by who called him and why). And I just continue to root for this couple
Sure, im just stopping at 17 and could be missing more of its substance. But with an FL so warped in her fears and supposed affections, it's so draining to read her perspective. It could be the execution because Ive read a number of MCs with similar fears but the author highlights her cowardice TOO MUCH. I'm at a point where I could almost root for the "goddess" who knows what she wants and go for it, and ive only seen her twice. This story basically reminds me that roles exists because some characters can't handle being anything else and the author washes her out to be exactly like the common cannon fodders. Right now, her status is solely because he latched on a "scent" and has been obsessed to claim it to himself, hence he has deeper emotions for her as she constantly show hesitation and runs away from him. 17 chapters, there should at least be some more concreteness to his attachment but because the author is SOOOO focused on her fears, it's so draining and monotone.
I dont even understand anymore whether our MC wants to be with his lover or uselessly cover about the latter's reputation when he already knows that no matter if they are indeed together or not, these fools will STILL make it difficult for them. Like he tells his lover to maximize what he already has but he himself go round and round with this dirty politics that brings nothing but useless antagonist highlights coz these lovers still serve them with "excuses to threat them".
With how they saw him grow up and the ways he helped them, i want to believe that the route would ens with: "as long as you are truly happy, and even happier than you could have been"... coz im so tired of the 'realistic homophobic oldies at the countryside' when there's already an 'outsiders who wants to scam him and act like it's for his own good' at play. It's just pitiful if he cant even have these old peeps support him.
My lacking romantic aspirations is exactly because I think like Shinwoo and has never had the love meter to match Han's maturity.
I piled up chapters and really needed some time to absorb chapter 45. Ive cried from a few chapters early on but I was nearly hyperventilating just processing the words and emotions of ch45. Shinwoo's confession. Han's words which felt like words that spoke to not just Shinwoo but anyone who thought like him...basically like me. And it's like a rollercoaster of heartwarming embrace of validation and bitter awakening that this is fiction... it's an imitation of a "what if" or "couldve been", an "almost true but not actually tangible", a mimicry that has been looked down on by early philosophers because it is an imagined state of reality. Emotions are there, but it is as fleeting as a wishful thinking until a person in the tangible world sincerely utters the same words with the same sentiment to you and YOU alone..instead of a witnessed scene from a window, separate from you and never truly directed at you.
Istg yaoi authors better take notes coz the chemistry and sexual tension is strong. Heck, even straight couples rarely get this tyoe of atmosphere right

But then it just had to feature dumb trainees with dumber company set ups that are bound to fail given the unreasonable setting. How does a midsize company not have enough trainees to sub a vocalist to the point of letting a secretary just switch jobs. The romcom is interesting, but the overall setting and side characters bothers me so much that it only kills my braincells instead of enjoying a sidepiece smut-comedy.

The audacity to accuse his son of letting his heart influence his choices as if he hadnt gone and sold his soul to the devil to try and implicate his son's lover. Like i even forgot what the big deal is given the connection seonwoo has as an upright and competent man in the economy AHAHHA
It's one thing to reject his feeling and another to dismiss it, trample it, and make excuses like "being the adult" as if your adulthood gives you the right to disrespect someone's emotions just because you dont think rejection isnt enough to hurt them :)
Its kinda boring just having him stay at this passive state. And the chapter ended short without much of a drama to look forward to
I loved that peak of conflict before the reset and now i dont know how much they know and dont know. Im aware of the middle arc which tied in the past narratives, but comes immortal emperor, it gets more confusing. Plus in the end, he will still chase after the npc coz his grievances were erased a girl in a bl is truly treated like shit... even the rarest gem of them all

Like lets be real, taxes and justice? What a joke! Lets not even talk about "following the law" coz its the LAW itself which is managed by politicians create those loopholes (im amazed theres no politics in the lawmaking process, just the law-abiding concept).
But thats what makes me like this despite the blatant idealism and grand images. Ofc it isnt truly all the smooth sailing with the absolute underground lawlessness that was missing in the first season, but just having a balance of powers and a cool MC (add the art into the mix), its really fun to read.
Like maybe hed give his eyes coz he said kasumi deserved to see. Maybe its by being killed and donating his eyes or something. But holyyy, the grace and mercy given to them by the author!
Like this girl is testing me. Sue me, mental illness doesnt excuse impressions, i can only be understanding but not unfeeling. And yes. She makes me impatient and i am impatient. BUT I SEE PROGRESS AND I LOVE IT. She is putting her foot forward to take advantage of a stubborn third party who is close to the brother whom she couldnt talk to properly without her emotions getting the best of her.
