But i like it. It's enough to make me uncomfortable but not so overbearing that I wanna punch somebody. Maybe because the author pace it well. Shinwoo is solemn but is personally very familiar because of how the author writes him. He survives each day with little expectations but omygoodness, ch18 was satisfying. He has a shell and is self depracating, but not is nicely nuance to be different from the tone of self victimizing or "oh woe is me, it really is my fault" like them gaslighting moms like his aunt lmao. It's that well written self preservation of self blame. Meanwhile, Han is also a familiar asshole but the type that is relatable. His self preservation is more narcissistic and blames others to justify himself (there's my toxic trait, but i weirdly still relate to the paralyzing anti-expectation from Shinwoo lol). But Han is proactive and ironically confrontative (which is the cause my discomfort ngl hahaha oh gosh, serious convo freezes my heart). He gets the plot moving ngl HAHAHHA

So honestly, this is my idea of polar opposites. Im sorry for shading the other manhwa. But I could not help but compare when we're talking about misunderstandings. Sure, shinwoo understood Han's personality all too well but it's also his own mindset that hyperfixates on it. And Han, with his similarly self-absorbed way of thinking, overlooks the traits of shinwoo that would not make sense to his way of thinking. They both have tunnel vision is what I'm saying and it's caused by their differing mindset. And I love THAT.
