He literally just found out his mother might have abandoned him. What do u want him to do, jump around in joy?

Okay? Still not gonna excuse the fact that he is irresponsible as a parent to Byul. The child literally cried. What his parents did to him, he’s doing the exact same thing to Byul.

In my opinion although what he did to byul hurts...but he is depressed...and also its not that he an irresponsible parent...he just doesn't know how to be a parent...i mean he was never ready to be a parent...and also the fact that his parents were shit...also his trauma is not easy to cure and mind you he was still young but had to go through so much pain all alone...no one taught him how to properly love nor how to be a parent cuz his own parents treated him life shit..

Not knowing your responsibility as a parent is still irresponsible no matter what the context is. It’s not that I’m invalidating what he has gone through. It’s just that Byul doesn’t have to go through the same shit he did. He knows how it feels. No child ever deserves to go through this.

Also i think its fine if he avoids byul until he recovers ..kinda like if you have a cold or your sick ofcourse your gonna avoid them to prevent them from getting sick or hurt and just get back when your ready and fine...hyesung is still a kid learning

Yep...hyesung didnt traumatized nor abused byul..he just said he need space...he didn't hurt byul or smthin...he just need to clear his emotions and collect his thought and until he is ready...he can go back to play with byul (=・ω・=)

Emotional abuse is still an abuse no matter what. It’s not about how grave the abuse is because at the end he’s still abusing him. This is the second time he did this. He shouldn’t have had Byul if he was gonna be like that.

3. Getting angry at a kid he abandoned because he doesn’t know how to deal with him

1. He wanted to make sure Dojin truly was taking care of Byul so he went to go find them. After finding them he stayed in Byuls life. In one of the chapters Hyesunf cried when he read the album book that Dojin made of Byul, because he realized he did the same as his mother. Now he is in Byuls life and Byul love his mom, and his mom loved him
2. Babies cry all the fucking time. the way youre acting is like is a child cries, their parenst are bad parents. Hyesung is depressed and NEEDs to be alone for his mental health so he can get better and take care of Byul.

1. Still doesn’t erase the fact he abandoned him. That’s the bare minimum of being a decent parent and just because he regretted things he did, doesn’t mean it’s already fine and okay. No.
2. It is stated in the story that Byul is an intelligent kid and knows how his parents feel because he is an alpha or gene don’t remember.
3. The older chapters when Byul was still crying whenever Hyesung do anything to him.

He didn't get angry to byul...he jusy gently said to leave him alone...think of it as hyesung being sick and has to avoid byul in the meantime because he doesnt want byul to suffer even more...if you are sick ofcourse you would want to avoid other to prevent them from getting hurt

Also its overreacting to say its emotional abuse...like what...if u got a cold and ur baby want to play with u and u avoid baby...and he cries...apparently is abuse??!

1. Idk how this point is useless when that child will know what happened later when he gets older. Do you think Byul will be happy despite knowing that his mother ran away because he was an unwanted child? Idk that depends on the author (also applies irl it depends from person to person).
2. He can cry whenever he wants. Whats not okay is him ignoring a longing child for the second time because he’s unstable. When you become a parent, it’s not just about you anymore.
3. As I said, it was on the OLDER chapters when he just decided to take responsibility for the kid.

I would like you to not have a kid in the future. You’re a danger to children.

Emotional abuse comes in many different ways. He’s unconsciously carving the abuse he got from his parents to Byul. I don’t see how is a literal cold can be comparable to what he’s doing right now.

And I just can’t believe how you tolerate his behavior just because he went through some shit. While I do understand where he is coming from, it still won’t excuse his behavior. I rest my case.
