Nocton fcked up too much for way too many years...

I don't think I would have even been friends with him for a year...
From her perspective it's like he never even liked her which is way I really don't understand how she stayed friends with him for years and from his perspective he loves her more than anyone which is why I don't understand how he could hide so many things from her and not trust her
Yeah but he couldn’t trust anyone for god sake! Look at how his own fucking family treated him as a kid! Look at how people tried to use him as a kid! Of course he wouldn’t just easily open up to someone but from chapters ago I can see when he started glowing and opening up slowly and he finally got it out.

Her perspective if off because her memory is distorted. The potion she took did not give her back all her memories, it instead made her only remember the negatives of her relationship with Nocton when they were children. There was a lot of good times too, for example the time when she visited Nocton when he was sick. Nocton did do all the jerk things she remembered but they also did get along very well. Nocton's mum is the one who made sure the potion Duroa wanted was switched out for the faulty one, she's the real villain not Nocton, he's just an unfortunate misunderstood guy.
Yeah I found that out recently and like honestly the mom doing too much. I want her out and gone smh. Like I don’t blame her 100% (female lead) because of Nocton mom
