I agree but, really, most of the adults in real life are like that. especially if they are the parents of the child in question. Hardly an adult sees a child as "person" or "individual" because they are "too young to understand how the world works soon, it is the adult's duty to do what is best for them" And, yeah, sometimes it's true bcs most of the children are or at least should be naive and innocent so...
