Yeah....I tried. Really I did, but I just couldn't ship ryuu and hosaka. They could of had ANY other relationship, just not father and son. All I could think of is: raised him, raised him, father, father. I mean, I have a father, and he raised me and I just nooooooooooooo. Some unreliable sources have said that he might end up with the doctor in the end but I mean the damage has already been done for me. He slept with his father(ish) like yeah I think if he ended up with the doctor it would be better but idk I just feel like it'll all end up being a giant ball of regret if he does. I'd love to hear some thoughts

Ahhhhhrgh it was super cute and fluffy and just ahhhhhh it was cuuuute. But throughout that I just couldn't help but be confused by who was gonna be the uke cuz like tachi looks like one but has a semes personality especially this scene http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hidamari_ga_kikoeru/bt/tr_chapter-12.6/pg-10/ I mean he just looks like he's thinking "I should just push him down and do him right here on these rocks" ya know?
Idk why but I feel like akinobu kinda gets me... I just kinda feel like I can relate to him in some strange way with the way he feels about his family.
Even though This is a really great series and though the first story was pretty confusing this is my favorite couple. Mayumi and yuuta are super cute and I love how they heal each other but tbh I can't really forgive shuu idc how hard his life is as an author but he portrayed this formerly abused child in one of his works as a broken puppy without even asking him about it and obviously yuuta was very hurt and shuu didn't think he was in the wrong but I REALLY think he was... idk anyone else?
P.s. ik that this isn't what yuuta was sad about but still the way he went About this made me kinda want to strangle shuu
Well that was depressing as hell.... i mean i hope there was a chapter missing or something because it kind of seemed that way and I am not satisfied with how that ended I mean they will probably never meet each other again and if they do it will be for incredibly short periods of time and just ugghhh

I loved this story so much and not was so great (tho tbh the mouth on sou was really weird) but I really liked it. But then suddenly Oh no! A rival stand owner knocks him over and they have to tell the mother about his yakuza past?! Why the fuck would they need to do that? IT WAS A STAND OWNER! I was so angry that tbh I skimmed over that and maybe the rival had ties to the yakuza idk. but still! It could of happened with anyone!!! Pissed me off so much and then the mothers reaction just made it worse like so because his adoptive father had ties to the yakuza she's gonna kick him out and possibly ruin his career?! And if ALL THAT WASNT BAD ENOUGH!, they don't even see each other like wtf WTF
Looking back on this I believe I overreacted to a fictional story that I might never think about again however quick way to piss me off is to give a bad end to a great plot

I think when you read a story you are supposed to go with the flow. You were expecting that what you wanted happened and that's why you didn't enjoy it, I actually think it's pretty good. And I liked quite much

I believe people are missing my point. Im not saying i wanted the brothers to end up together. in fact, im kind of relieved they didnt because i always have this kind of black feeling in my stomach with direct incest because it does not sit well. all i was saying was that the order of the chapters led me to believe something and then it ended up being something else so i felt like i lost either way.

Tbh those last chapters were the saving grace to this manga for me I kinda really hated the first couple specifically the uke but oh well too each his own
I ear everyone talking about how rushed the sex scene was and all that nd the shounen ai tag but let's be real guys... look at the cover. I mean i, for one, was surprised there was any plot at all. I've never seen a shounen ai manga with such a yaoi/leaning-towards-hentai looking cover. I can understand the disappointment though because it really was a nice set up for a wonderful plot but then they slaughtered it to pieces ╥﹏╥
