Listen, i liked the plot, the characters, the cuteness, but im struggling to rate this higher than three stars because the author simply COULD NOT remember what her own character looked like. In every bloody scene the seme had a different face. Sometimes he looked exactly like the best friend, sometimes he looked like a cute chibi sort of boy and sometimes he had drawn out manly facial feature. YOU CANNOT SIMPLY ERASE A JAWLINE BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE IT. as much as i wanted to get into it, in every scene i had to make sure i knew who the characters even were and that pissed me off greatly.

This has always been a manga with little to no plot in it but i was ok with that because some of these feel good mangas just dont have one. Theyre just there for the vibes and thats just fine. But... But... MAGIC?? MAGICIANS?? out of nowhere???? Thats just such messy, irresponsible writing that i find it hard to get over. I still love this but damn what a disappointing turn this took.
Why must the MC be so dumb? She has literally acheived nothing and we are 30 chapters in. She hasnt gotten stronger, more financially stable, or learned anything. Like how clueless can you be? Yeah it was pretty bad. The story gets much better later. I'm sure the author added it for character development but it's easy to get turned away from stories like that. If you choose to continue, it gets so much better!

To all those googling "pigeon chest" and being horrified, those are extremely extreme cases. Many people (like my brother) just have the slightest hint of a protruding upper chest. You cant even tell unless you're observing him very very closely
