I highly suggest you read the novel. The manhua lacks too many details and essential information to fully understand & appreciate the story. It is simply too choppy.
The translated (English) version is not complete, unfortunately it's currently on hiatus, but there are 308 chapters available. I personally love this genre, so it took me roughly 3 days to finish reading. It's really good!! It had me hooked. I would tell myself "okay this is your last chapter. you need to sleep now" Nope. I'd end up going to bed at 2 a.m. sometimes 3 lmao
Someone else posted the link to read the novel below, but I will also include it here.

thank you translation team!
Fuck that was graphic. I don't think I'll be able continue reading after this. Was it necessary to show all of the child abuse & r*pe ???? fuck man. It was too much.
it was important to establish Ayaka's character moti
important caracter development
Yeah, but some scenes could have been blurred out or darkened. It could have still gotten the point across without showing everything. I just can't stand child abuse. It physically hurts.
I agree that the scene's were a lot to take in, but it was pretty obvious the chapter was heading there. It's only there to let us learn more about her childhood.
Awh I feel the same way I can't stand to see rape scenes it hurts and kinda just want mc to get some therapy yah know?
Same.
well she probably gonna die in a few chapter no need to waste money on therapy, dying is quicker
Dyehhdhe thats- I mean yea lmao
