Oh gosh. I think of all the child protagonists I’ve read so far, Florentia is the most MOOOOOST cutest and loveable yet had a spice of naughtiness of all.
We ve seen other FLs reincarnated as a disadvantaged neglected child in a noble/duke house but most of them were so bright eyed helpless, weak, innocent, gentle, afraid and often get lucky because they happen to charm the ML or other powerful assholes. They rather get protected and saved than having the guts to find other solutions. .
Well there is the story of an Archmage somehow reincarnated by force as a star princess in the most powerful imperal family dominated by tyrannical obsessive patriarchal jerks in "The Youngest Princess"...
Too pretentious, materialistic, glamorous and spoiled for me.
It is basically about a Mary Sue who is automatically very popular with many psychotic jerks.
I would rather recommend you "Charlotte has Five Disciples".
I prefer these characters and this world building.
Florentina demonstrates diginity, self-respect, self-reliance and real competence in front of her scary opponents. Even if she is very scared, she still don't let it bring her down, doesn't give up and keep facing her fears!
The MC in "Lady Baby" is also very competent/sassy. But I am annoyed that her perfect ML just came out of nowhere and has decided to become her knight in shiny armor...
I totally forgot the most badass self-efficient female Child protagonist I ever discovered!
Leslie "The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess"!
Why? She basically had nothing, no family love, no allies and no power; only her intelligence and self-awareness!
She was a hardcore victim until she was finally fed up and discovered that she has power in her and decided to scheme her way out of her toxic shit enviroment.
She never forgave her abusive family.
I lost interest with Lady Baby because it kinda was too slow paced and went nowhere for too long for me.
I was bothered when the silver haired ML duke suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
To my knowledge he did not play any role in her reincarnation/time regression.
But he very likely met her in the past unknownst to her and somehow regained some of his memories...
Oh my. His teacher is pitiful. His daughter is an obsessed psychopath. But however pitiful he is, his daughter can harm Hae-In so she can stay in prison or something and away from my couple.
