It's cute, but jungwoo's is kinda a rich kid asshhole, i mean he got a position at a job he didn't earn. His dad got him the job. Not only that but he does whatever he wants with no regards for anyone else. His dad payed for that college entry that could've gone to someone who actually deserved it. Regardless I partially blame his rebellious snobbish and selfish attitude to his neglectful father. Not to take away accountability from Jungwoo. Also Jungwoo victim blamed and literally believed that his boyfriend cheated on him even though his boyfriend who he should have a trust and bond with built as result of their love for one another, tells jungwoo he was sexually coerced and manipulated. It was only when Jungwoo realized his boyfriend had been raped that he realized his mistake. And he never apoligized (though i could be wrong on this one, im not sure but im pretty sure he didnt say sorry). Jungwoo simply went to immediately looking for the dude. And then his boyfriend is like "no it's over, its okay, no more issues please". Which i understand but like... HE RAPED YOU?? He could've done it to other students, his professor is not just awful, but dangerous. He had to of been arrested. I also didn't like how the scenes in which the boyfriend (sorry forgot the names of everyone who isn't jungwoo) was being sexually manipulated were sexualized. They were demonized at the same time but yeah, but also what the hell was up with that whole sex fantasy sequence in the beginning inside the teachers head..? It was mixed signals, it was being demonized and sexualized at the same time, it makes the former look like a front for a naughty raped themed sex scene and that makes me uncomfortable. The author says "rape bad" by demonizing these characters but then goes back on it by giving these characters minimal repercussions or making it seem like they are just creeps and not literal rapists. Also why the hell was the office more concerned with the fact that Jungwoo was cheating on his wife that he didn't even tell them about then the fact that the person Jungwoo was "cheating" on his wife with what looked like a minor??? I think that part reflects on the author as a person (not accusing them of being a pedo or a pedo apologist but just strange when it comes to their morals). Look overall its mediocre story and I may be making it out to be worse than it actually is. The romance scenes between Jungwoo and his bf were cute. It was nice seeing these characters just be happy and in love every once in while when they aren't being forced into melodramatic situations brought upon the misunderstanding of each other and the other people around them who are supposed to be adults yet gossip like teenagers (that was on purpose though, you arent supposed to like those people so good on the author for making hateable antagonists ig)

I don't think the author had any intial intentions or any kind of idea of what it is they wanted to do with the story. I think they just shoe horned in a bunch of edgy stuff in the end and in the middle without any consideration for how it would fit in the big picture or story. I'm not a shipper but the sudden change of jimmy being with henry instead of taylor could've been handled better, since they wrote the two relationships exactly the same it makes it strange when the character you've been mainly following as a love interest for the MC suddenly has all of his flaws and insecurities about the relationship ampt up 100% just so they could break up and and for the reader to be shocked. Honestly it just made me hate taylor and want to see his character growth. But no, the author litterally kept him the same for the entire story which made taylors character arch feel unfinished, especially when he says "happiness comes at the expense of someone elses suffering". Its clear his story isn't finished but the author just wanted to rap things up ig. I think they also intended mason to be a bad guy at first without any plans for a redemption until the author wanted to kill him off. I think they only made henry and jimmy canon for the edge. Point is, story is shit. Its messy and all over the place, it uses old tropes without any real in depth worldbuilding or character develpment. I should mention that these at some of the worst bland one dimensional characters I've read in a while. The romance is boring at best, painfully toxic and annoying at worst. The first 2 villains have really no significance and honestly those archs for the most part have almost nothing to do with the 3rd and final arch at the end.
