i actually really like how they made theo scary in this ch, usually with the “war hero ooo he has no heart and is so scary” troupe they end up just making him a soft boy and only really fights the villain with a sword. But w this scene of theo literally experimenting on her with no remorse it’s kinda refreshing in the way that YES this dude has literally been in WAR, he doesn’t just have a scary title because he’s misunderstood. Plus he’s not even hurting her for peri alone but he’s trying to get information out of it, idk just feels so real to current war tactics.

it def does good in some departments but in others it’s like that was not needed??? the scene where that pedo was looking out at the lake and explaining his side of the story, like no dude ur attracted to ur underage son that’s fucked like we did not need that scene to get his side. also the scene with how the school just cheered her on in the assembly felt very unrealistic. and yes being groomed is a very realistic issue in the community but the way their relationship was portrayed was very iffy. the incest issue with the middle schooler as well, like it would’ve been so easy to just have made his lover a classmate why his cousin? ik it’s not a big detail but it’s such a negative stereotype so i did feel mad a bit. I definitely did cry tho in scenes where he broke down, overall good ig but could’ve been approached better when dealing with such heavy topics like this

to all the people arguing if shes jealous or not, imo i don’t think i care as much. Even if she’s jealous that’s completely fine, I get jealous of my siblings sometimes but i still love them and i don’t hate them for it, it’s completely normal to be jealous of a sibling and most of the times that sibling is also jealous of you. Honestly it’d be pretty weird to me if siblings were always super fluffy

honestly because it’s a comedy i didn’t expect this, i mean like i half did bc duh it’s a gl but even in most bl/gl comedy’s they barely scrap the surface. like they show obvious ridicule from others and being sad but they don’t go as far as to talk abt how gender/sex are diff this is nice :))
