I agree I think that's one reason why he was angry at him. He was willing to just give up. I don't like Jimmy with either Mason or Taylor it's something off with both. With Mason, it's somewhat ok because that's a cliche way of starting a relationship but I don't like them together. With Taylor, one Taylor is basically his dad, two it's kind of toxic in a way. Jimmy whines and gets whatever he wants, and Taylor leads him on for years, without saying anything. But these aren't really good points so I'm just going to say it again. My personal opinion is that I don't like him with neither Taylor nor Mason
