You’re seriously blaming the whole situation on J.J? Communication is always a two way street. “Being dumb” is no excuse to treat your partner like a bitch constantly. J.J is not Leo’s sex toy or secretary. He was Leo’s partner for 5 years. This breakup didn’t come out of the blue. J.J has been trying to communicate. Leo is the one ignoring the signs. Even Leo’s manager, sisters and friends told him to start treating J.J properly or he’ll leave. J.J is the one who has been putting an effort in this relationship for 5 years. He must have thought a 1000 times before breaking up with Leo. Knowing J.J, he probably gave multiple chances to Leo as well. For a relationship to work you just can’t expect only one partner to make the effort. It’s not about being dumb enough to ignore the warning signs, it’s about caring enough to notice when your partner is visibly unhappy for so long. Please stop letting people like Leo escape any accountability in ruining their own relationship. J.J isn’t perfect and he has definitely done things that can’t be excused but let’s not forget Leo is the one who has set a dangerous precedent since chapter 1 to being with. He too has forced J.J to do something he clearly knows J.J hates for his satisfaction alone. It also probably not the first time he did that to J.J. They are both at fault here but Leo is the one who started the end of their relationship together and is too proud and egotistic to admit it.

Leo has tried to verbally communicate the things he was concerned about or unsure of while JJ hasn't. Such as the new job, moving his things out of the apartment, and moving to Germany. While JJ bottled things for five years. So don't say it's a two way street when one has at least tried to communicate his issues in the relationship. While I wish he would have picked up on JJs issues, most people can't read the room and it was JJs responsibility to bring up HIS OWN CONCERNS. We have to remember a lot of what we have learned about JJ and his issues his cause we literally read his thoughts. I am sure if we were not reading it we would be so confused about his actions as well.

Both need to work on themselves and the way they treat a partner. But as the story goes on I am staying to think the JJ defenders ( cause some of us keep bring up the issues with both characters yet y'all only take offense to what we say bad about JJ) are purely looking at this ticking time bomb of a relationship as if y'all are dating Leo rather than an outsider. Leo is also a fucking grown ass man too. He needs shit bottle fed to him at his age? He is being told that he has being treating J.J like shit for 5 years by everyone around him. The story is indicating that even the warning signs were loud enough for everyone around them to notice except Leo. J.J is a fucking human being who has been trying for their relationship since day one with nothing to show for it. It’s true that Leo has tried to ask what’s wrong and why J.J broke up with him but he only started doing that after J.J broke up with him already and Leo always follows that conversation by proving to J.J that he meant nothing but a booty call to him. Every single time during these conversations Leo reduces their whole relationship to rubble just because he’s too proud and egotistical. Have you even considered what J.J felt like during those times after dedicating 5 years of his life to Leo? After all that you’d think that after the breakup Leo would try to analyse what went wrong and try to make the effort for the first time to communicate but no apparently that’s too much to ask. What was he doing before that when there were so many warning signs and everyone was literally telling him to get his shit together? Why is it only J.J’s responsibility to communicate? Are there not two people in this relationship? Is Leo being dumb justification enough to be treating J.J like this? In your words “HE’S A GROWN ASS MAN”. 100% agree with you. I know both of them are at fault, one way or another, so I don’t get why people are still defending JJ. It even came from their own mouth that “communication is a two way street”, and yet did JJ properly communicate why he broke up with Leo? He just vehemently broke up with out actually telling the reason why he wants to break up. Y’all can’t just say “Leo’s manager, sisters and friends told him”, bruh, are they the ones in the relationship? Do they know how they are behind closed doors? Do they know how intimate they are? Did JJ talk about his feelings to them? They started this story at the end of Leo and J.J’s relationship. The only thing about their past we have seen so far is how their relationship started in the beginning. We have yet to see the middle of their relationship. How can you be so sure he hasn’t tried to communicate with Leo about his issues before? An example of this is in the first and recent chapters. They show Leo forcing J.J to have sex outside in the first chapter although J.J didn’t want it. In later chapters we find out that Leo knew J.J hated sex outside yet he still forced him anyway because Leo wanted it. It’s one of the examples in which Leo knew the problem since the beginning and still chose to ignore J.J feelings on the matter because Leo cared about his wants more. It’s shown in the story that since the first chapter everyone around Leo knew J.J was unhappy. Everyone except Leo could visibly see it. Everyone close to Leo also tried to tell him to treat J.J properly or else he will leave him. It’s not a question about reading the room. It’s a question about whether you care enough about your partner to notice that they’re unhappy. Did Leo actually care enough to notice the warning signs and try to listen to J.J and everyone around him before it was too late? I keep saying this over and over again but J.J is the one who has been making the most effort in their relationship. He just wants Leo to try and make an effort for once. If Leo wasn’t so proud and egotistical he would’ve thought about their relationship and breakup properly and actually tried to properly communicate with J.J first because clearly their breakup wasn’t out of the blue. J.J thought long and hard about it. You say Leo has been trying to communicate with J.J and asking him why he broke up with him but that’s only half true. You forgot to mention how each and every time Leo has tried to communicate with J.J he has followed that conversation by proving to J.J that their relationship meant nothing more than a booty call to him. Even if that’s not really how Leo feels he has literally said so many bad things to J.J that he pretty much proved all of J.J’s worst fears. Leo reduces their 5 years relationship to ashes every time he meets J.J just because he’s too proud and self centred to admit he was wrong. If you call that communicating with J.J then no wonder there are so many people with relationship problems. In the current chapter we see that J.J has literally given up. He’s not even angry at Leo anymore. He’s only continuing the physical relationship because Leo asked him. He feels a sense of responsibility for Leo’s accident even though it was not his fault. Even after that accident rather than admit that he was depressed because of their breakup Leo chose to make it look like J.J was nothing more than a booty call yet again. Leo is still acting like he’s the one doing J.J a favour by sleeping with him and that J.J is the one entirely at fault. In regards to your comment I also blame them both for the ruin of their relationship but I can’t stand people making it look like it was all J.Js fault entirely from the beginning and Leo is the sole victim. No, they are both responsible. Leo doesn’t get a pass for being held accountable because he’s either “dumb” or “can’t read the room”. Leo is a grown ass man not a child. He shouldn’t be bottle fed. He should know how to treat his partner with respect and decency. Why should others have to tell him “ please he is your boyfriend not a sex toy or secretary”? This is all common sense. If Leo doesn’t even have this much common sense than he shouldn’t get involved with people in the first place.

Lets be real leo's and jj's relationship doesn't concern anyone even if they did "warn" him it doesn't really matter because the one who was supposed to say something isn't saying anything, leos not gonna take what others say seriously, ppl always talk shit about him so he doesn't listen to others besides that they're in a relationship and as long as they were okay with what's happening it was "fine" until it wasn't. These are fictional characters. I don't get paid to defend one and step on the other. I never justified Leo's actions whatsoever. I'm talking about his nature. Even when he's not treating people wrong he's not understanding what he's doing wrong. Did he hurt JJ? Of course he did. Did JJ talk to him about how he was getting hurt by him? NO. Do you even hear JJ talk? Do you hear him moan during sex? Did you hear him saying romantic shit? Did you see him end their five-year-long relationship well? He broke up with him when Leo was DRUNK. He didn't even give him a reason. I'm not saying Leo is not in the wrong here. He's like a dumb immature teenager. I'm talking about intention. I'm saying if I'm in JJ's place and I love someone like Leo and he's being an ass I will sit him down during our initial months of relationship and spell him everything.
