Legit want Seth to end up with nephtys after this new info was revealed. You’re telling me they both loved each other the whole time ??? And she was forced to cheat on him ??? Just let them go back to being a happy family with Anubis

I'm so sorry to let u down on this and imma hold your hand while I say this but Seth x horus are canon so it seems (not sure but heavily theorizing and implied because 1. There are murals that are talking about past lives and horus as one of the ennead siblings not as isis son and him being murdered by Seth so their story goes beyond chapter 1.. not revealed yet
2. The latest raws have Seth and horus share a jealousy filled fully consensual teeth tongue spit involved hot kiss (plot progress in that direction)
3. Once you're stuck in this mirror I hardly think you'll be able to leave anymore. Since you're just a fragment, a phantom of memory and feelings. What is plausible tho is them clearing up the big confusion and moving on but apart from that reconciliation seems highly unlikely but pls take my word with a grain of salt. I may be proven wrong in future

I mean yeah this is a BL I don’t know why I’m rooting for a straight couple btw where are the murals depicting Horus as one of the siblings ? Everyone keeps talking about them and I’m so confused.
Also !does that mean the nephtys that’s in love with Seth will stay stuck in the mirror forever ? :( that’s so sad

The fact that johan never once thought of his dead WIFE and MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN while he couldn’t stop fantasizing about his failed situationship.

Tbf he was in love with her and he probably married his wife out of convenience and responsibility. He never got over her although for a while he deluded himself into thinking he did. He never got closure so he’s suffering bce of it. I kinda feel bad for the wife but I doubt she ever expected love from him, she just did her duties. Plus it’s not like he had an affair, he didn’t act on his desires while he was married. They just kissed once and that was probably before he got married since he was clearly still hung up on her. I’m just glad he still cared about his children and prepared for the future in order to protect them but that just my opinion

I’mma be honest with y’all, the best friend’s betrayal kinda came from nowhere.
Unless I’m forgetting something he seemed pretty loyal to the crown prince and saw more like a friend than a means to protect his position.
So yeah not a fan of this plot point.

Oh no, it hit me how fake Kyung Joon is when he spoke about the wedding. How carefully he's chosen the timing, and that he speaks to Nok always super stricktly formal - that it even makes Nok sad and hurt by it.
Also "the best friend" thing is just Kyung Joon was selected as the prince's companion from when they were kids. As lonely as Nok was, he clinged to him (and for some reason thought highly of him) and treated as a true friend. Such relation could've maybe develop into a real friendship, but it wasn't the case this time. Kyung Joon was loyal as a subject, hoping Nok will be the king, but not as a friend.

To be honest, I never liked him from the beginning. He had shady vibes. The whole talk about marrying his sister was straight up crazy. He doesn't care if his sister dies and all the marriage talk was unnecessary, mf just wanted to make his own worth rise through marriage alliances.
To top all this off, the way he acted around 'lower class' and homosexuals was all I needed to despise him. You just cannot be a good person with such a gigantic stick up your ass. He simply had the 'I need to be the closest to the crown prince because he is going to be the king, which means I am investing in making myself rise' mindset.
Now that his personal moral compass says Lee Nok is not worth being a king, he switches to the side that just aligns with what he wants (more profitable to him in the future + Lee Nok out of the way)

The current empress is simply magnificent, how could the emperor fall for another woman ?

For real!
I guess the king fell for the previous empress because of the "I'm fell for the isekai villainess protag cliché" (ofc she's no isekaid girl but, if you're familiar with those kind of story the pattern of how the noble kids fell for MC is similar). The previous empress was the daughter of a count, grew up close to the king which was possible due to her close relantionship with his other close friends(prob with their current wives too since she got their support in court that made it possible for her to be empress given her lower status), m. she was known to be ahead of her time and not the type to follow court protocol. (reason why she was disliked by the conservative nobles and clergy) Anyway she got the "not like the other noble girls" charm to her that caught the eyes of the king. Anyway she was basically opposite to the current empress, a badass woman obviously but to the eye of the king, we can assume, she came across as the typical groomed fiancé that is very court and tradition focus and rigid. I bet the king didn't find charming being married for political reason too.
Jitae looks like a whole different character now
