Its not gum they're supposed to be bumps from her hitting him
he put gum in haneuls hair in the past. you can see it in the flashback.
And in the middle of the head as well like how tf do you take that out without cutting and leaving a weird ass chop

Update: I now know how. Take lots of vegetable oil and massage it into the gum. This will break off the sticky-ness and harden making it easy to remove
