Damn I cried so much. Beautiful art and beautiful story. I get why some people may not like the beginning, but I think the story really picks up and has a very beautiful and tragic ending that is worth reading all the way until the end.

Why are you doubting an author's way of storytelling, not to mention, Junko is also BL author. You'll never know what the author plans in their story and here you are already concluding.

Bitch listen if he had been sleeping around and then stopped when he started pursuing her that would be one thing, but to keep Saying I love you while whoring around ain’t cool. I like his initial character but adding on the cheating and sleeping around seems like an extra unneeded shitty addition to this manga.

well, he is planning on giving up on her gradually (since from his perspective, they won't have a chance to be together, and if they are, she will be injured one way or another), so no surprise when he is going to marry some others before her (I think Pauliana won't mind either).
(You can see that he is also planning on finding her a husband suit her so that he can wish her a happy ending and terminate his feelings.)
