I’ve read all the good ones, re-read them, and then re-read them again because every time I try a new one, it’s full of unnecessary Grape, action, gore, or just outright depressing vibes. Why can’t we have more soft BL manga where two main couples fall in love sweetly, with maybe just a touch of drama—but nothing over the top? Or even better, a strong uke like Yuki who can conquer everything without humiliating himself or putting up with awful treatment from the male lead. Just… give me a wholesome, feel-good romance, and maybe cute babies, please!”

Just finished The King of Homecooking, so I picked up this story because the ML and MC are hilariously clueless idiots in that one. Seriously. Freakin’ comedy. But wow, this one… it’s like stepping right onto emotional quicksand. yep, the author of Chew and Swallow and Escape to Oblivion is definitely behind this. But I have no clue how they managed to write The King of Homecooking, because that one was actually funny.
