Yeah! Me too. I think there is something about his mother that he is either worried about or embarrassed about. I am hoping for the latter in a fun way. Like she would get excited about her son having a friend over and thus would keep bugging them and telling stories about her son. But with the way this manga is, I kinda doubt that would be it. More like she is an alcoholic or abusive or demanding, or what not. Or maybe a homophobe. Don't know. But hopefully we find out soon.

..it's not that deep. Narasaki just knew he wouldn't be able to study because he gets tooo horny when he's with Terashima, as we've seen in previous chapters especially those in his pov. It was exam time so he decided to focus on that only for a little while.
Also his mum knows Terashima very well, he's been to his house a lot of times already and we've seen his mum, she's perfect normal.
The fact that Zen knows Obi loves Shirayuki but doesnt get jealous or annoying when theyre together makes me happy it shows he trully trust them 100% and knows nothing will happen between them
