This is absolutely no shade to you but reading stuff like that is a nice reminder of how good Painter of the night is. Like, there are no other webtoons with a similar plot that manage to surpass it imo. I'm often frustrated by it but at the end of the day, I have to admit that POTN is incredibly well-written and drawn, it's impressive.
It almost hurts to go back to reading other webtoons now because of the gap in quality.
isnt any shade or i guess u didnt intend to. i love to capture an enemys heart,, they have an unsteady relationship in the beginning, are set with a hierarchy, and also have hatred undertones which are all similar elements to painter of a night which is why i recc. I’m not going to find a carbon copy manga to give the person i was just trying to help them and show a title i like. “Stuff like this” is fucking rude to someone took the time to create an intricate plot line and good characters. don’t be like that because the art isn’t your taste. No one said anything about surpassing painter of a night— not even gonna comment on that cuz you can’t even handle someone else recommending a manga that wasn’t even for you.

I'm wheezing why are you so hurt because the manhwa you recommended is of low quality, like so many others on this website? The drawings are mediocre at best and the plot is so cliché and generic it hurts. All I did was compliment the quality of Painter of the night in comparison.
Take a deep breath, don't let yourself be so affected by other people's tastes, it's truly worrying how you took it to heart when it wasn't about you at all.
