He doesn't hate him. He wants to possess him. It's an obsessive love- where you want to crush the other person into yourself so they wouldn't exist as another person but a part of you. Soohyun hates that he's mediocre and has a great amount of pride - more than hating eunsung I think he hates himself and when he looks at him and how perfect and above average he is without even trying; he hates himself more and hates eunsung for triggering his own self-hatred though it's bound to change - since his obsession will shift from bringing him down to protectin him and falling for him in a way. He'll hate himself even more for loving him but eunsung will probably need to help him see how wonderful or above average he is to him...only that way will soohyun get over his inferiority complex. Being acknowledged by someone who he considers to be truly above average...nevertheless, who wouldn't hate someone who was the reason they were mocked and ridiculed for years??? And moreover someone who raped them as their first time??? I understand him, even though eunsung is still my favourite character hahahah he's just tooooo cute and pretty.

I think thats referring to how soohyun was always getting made fun of because he studied so hard and couldnt beat him in grades and then maybe there was a snide comment?

1. Most of the hatred stems from his own inferiority complex when comparing himself towards dung sung.
2. People forget, but eungsung raped and humiliated soohyun in their encounter post high school.

What shows that he’s obsessed? I don’t remember much cause of waiting for new chapters. He has never done anything as bad as Osiris. He has always tried to not hurt Seth during the competitions.

And it’s true that he either looks up to him as a fatherly figure or romantically. S2 will be Horus and Set focus mostly. Horus is definitely just mysterious.

If Horus was portrayed as cheerful and nice, and not mysterious, I’m pretty sure he’d look less obsessed and just playful.
But it’s his mysterious personality that makes him seem obsessive I’m guessing. Not to mention he was the only one who stayed by Seth’s side when nobody else did, he never laid a hand on Set without reason, he was at ease around Set.

Doesn’t seem obsessive, just really looks up to him.

I can’t remember exactly but It was the chapter where he was having flashbacks and talking about how he wanted to be Anubis bc seth loved him and I guess just in general that gave me obsessive vibes
