Margarette Macaron (the guy with music magic) tells Mash (MC) that he looks flawed to the next test (where they duel). Finn(? I forgot his name, but the two-toned hair guy that seems weak) is worried for Mash since Mash seems shocked. He asks Mash “What’s wrong?” Mash tells him that his pectoral muscle, Mike, is warning him.
A new guy called Kaldo Gehenna is introduced (the guy with blonde (?) hair, and ‘X’ on his face), he is a divine visionary. He is talking with the gramps with the really long beard (headmaster? i forgot). Kaldo tells gramps that Mash’s winning streak may come to an end when he fights Margarette. He says that the only reason Rayne became a visionary in his second year was because Margarette decided not to participate on that year. Kaldo says that Margarette is the surest candidate for divine visionary through his careful examinations. Gramps agrees with Kaldo. Kaldo laughs, saying that gramps was only agreeing with him under normal circumstances. Kaldo tells gramps that gramps has a lot riding on Mash, and that Kaldo has yet to see why Mash is worthy. Kaldo thinks that Margarette will beat Mash in the duel since their power gap is too great.
A black haired dude who I believe is Margarette’s subordinate, blabbers to Margarette about how Mash has no magic so Margarette should show him who’s boss. The subordinate offers to slip laxative into Mash’s drink(? he doesn’t mention what, since it ends in ‘...’). Margarette throws him into a wall. Telling him not to interfere and will kill him if he does. Orter Madl (a divine visionary guy with black hair and glasses, stoic?, and dislikes the idea of Mash being a visionary bc he has no magic) appears, Margarette tells Orter not to interfere as well. Orter hesitates, but agrees, saying that he will stay quiet if Margarette does his job right (defeating Mash). The subordinate thinks that Margarette is super cool and badass for not shedding a drop of sweat in front of a divine visionary.
Mash is sitting in a chair and talks about why he trains (his gramps wanted him to, then he started to take pride in it). Mash makes and drinks his protein shake. Two-toned hair guy (Finn?) thinks that everyone is weird. Kaldo appears out of nowhere into Mash and his friends’ room(? wherever they are) and asks to play a game. Mash declines, saying that he’s on break so he can’t. Kaldo pushes him by saying he examines all the candidates. Kaldo decides that if Mash wins, Mash can immediately pass the test (duel with Margarette). Mash decides to accept his offer. Kaldo tells Mash that they will play a game of “You look you lose.” Mash warms up his fingers and two-toned hair friend comments that Mash’s finger warm ups are amazing and look like pinwheels.
It’s not repetitive so much as showing that they’re developing as a couple- Uka doesn’t get insecure and run away from him anymore, and Kai is able to assuage her worries within the day. They’re growing to learn how to deal with one another and solve their problems without hurting each other.
