The girls and Euntaek eating cake for the birthday party, the girls starts to gossiping about Sangcheol to Younggon. Jung messages Seol about assignment that they're supposed to do together. Flashback, Bora and friend tells Seol to eat but she wanna write a note before she forgets, her handwriting looks so bad and Juyeon gives her a paper for assignment, Juyeon cornering her about Jung and study group, Juyeon and Younggon start bickering, Seol runaway but Younggon follows her. Younggon says he will embarass Juyeon so Seol should set him up with Bora, he says he was taking her side earlier and thought they were on the same page, he could also help Seol with Jung. In the class Seol warns Bora about Younggon, and they noticed the paper Juyeon gave to Seol is wrong and different from Bora's. Something small and so trivial to worry about could become big like firestorm.
Seol's morning and then in the class Bora and Euntaek talk with Jung, Jung is borrowing Seol's pen in that class. After class, Ayoung waited for Seol and Seol warns her about Sangcheol. Jung returns the pen to Seol and Seol exchanges thank you with Jung. Ayoung fell for Jung. Ayoung and Seol eating dinner together and Ayoung tells her that Sangcheol approached her. Ayoung asks Seol about Jung.
Seol, Bora and Euntaek buying cookies in supermarket to bring, the other group bouth the cake. They are getting something for karaoke. Bora asks Seol if she wants to go to blind date, Bora went to blind date the other day. Euntaek is trying to reach for something in the back, but everything fell. Euntaek got many things and Bora tells him to put them back.
Seol went to toilet. Jung looks at his watch and asks for them to take a 5 minute break. When the time to go home, Seol almost fell and Jung catches her. Seol felt something wrong. Seol wake up after dreaming in the class, the students laugh at her, Jung says Seol looks tired and he doesn't waking her up because she was sleeping like rock, he has got her handout and giving it to her. Jung and Seol walking together, Jung asks her if she wants something to eat, Seol says she need to clean her house cause her mom will disappointed if she hasn't and will cause her mental distress and ear ache, Jung understands. Shoes, bag, jacket, computer, she doesn't have any other classes she could change to, everytime she sees him she do crazy things, Seol is screaming because stress and the guy next door yells at her.
Seol feels awkward in the group and thinks she came to the wrong place. Younggon complained about the atmospher. Jung says Kyunghwan asks him first and he is gonna say no to Juyeon. Jaewoo takes the role of leader and asks Younggon to be quiet and tell his members to briefly make plans, their schedule fits well and asks them to meet one time during the week and one time during the weekend. Jaewoo advises his member to take 100 words test each time, it means that 200 words each week. Jung tells Younggon that assistant said if he doesn't go to empty his cabinet now, he'll throw everything away. Younggon going and asks them to give information later. Strange and uncomfortable vibe, some kind of sensitive power struggle, it's Jaewoo's group but he can't lead the way he wants to, there's someone with more charisma and confidence, some people just follow the easy path or play politics to gain power and there's someone who looks humble but at the top of social ladder. Jung tells Kyunghwan to stop joking around and check the materials to study. Seol assumed for Jung, some people aren't cool to hang out with, but they are older or high class, some people are jusr easy for Jung to handle, Jung just avoids some people that Seol also finds awful but still everyone approaches him respectfully. Prince or mysophobia? Seol laughs while glance at him and Jung glanced back at her.
Bora asks Seol if she wants to join a study group, Seol asking if it for English. Bora saw the bulletin board and Juyeon advertising for a study group, she said she could make Jung join and help them to practice their speaking. Bora tells Seol to think of her TOEFL score. Seol thinking of try to get close to Juyeon, there'll be lots of girl in study group and hanging out all together. Juyeon says that even if Jung come he might not be able to help Bora and Seol to study and Bora says it's okay because they will just sit there and listen to him. Younggon hitting on Bora and Bora asks him to get away. Younggon asks them to join his study group and they refused. Bora says that Younggon been acting weird to her lately and he was tried that with Juyeon before, so Juyeon made him super embarassed but he won't change and warns Bora to be careful. Seol moves to Jaewoo's group to avoid Jung, Jaewoon is the guy who very quiet and smart.
Seol is late, she ran and fell, Younggon laughed at her and asks about Bora. Floor is very slippery because it's been waxed. There were Jung in the group.
Seol is yawning and thinking of changing her 1 class to online class. Her neighbor calls her and complains to her that she is so noisy and talk so loud on the phone. He studies for the exam and can't focus studying. Sangcheol greets Seol when she waits for Ayoung who just entered the school. Seol wants to take Ayoung to lunch but she has to go to class, Sangcheol joins her conversation with Ayoung and she introduces them Ayoung says that she has to go and left. Sangcheol asks Seol to set him up with Ayoung but Seol lies and says that Ayoung has boyfriend, Sangcheol keep insisting but Seol has class and has to go but Sangcheol says that he was nice to Seol and Seol is so mean, Seol says that she will try but don't expect anything. Seol thinks that she is out of her mind because Sangcheol is not a good person and wrong in many ways. Ayoung helped Seol so many time when she kicked out, lost her lunch money, umbrella, cookies. Jung says that he will study together with Seol, there are not many classes he can take and he choose that class because there seems to be less homework and less people than other classes, Seol answers him that they met there by accident. Seol glances around and says that she will change to online class when she get home but Jung says that lots of online classes have been cancelled, most of the ones left have probably filled up and asks her if he makes her uncomfortable. The teacher calls them and says that she understands romance but they have to listen to the lecture and asks Jung if he is a tv star or something because she feels like she have seen him on shows. Jung says that he is just a student and the teacher keeps compliment his face and tells Jung and Seol to go on a date after class. Students talking that she isn't his girlfriend and guess she's desperate for him and the other sure that she is just his friends. Jung says sorry and tells her to not feel uncomfortable, there is no reason to feel awkward with him and just relax. Seol isn't sure if he means it or just saying it. She doesn't know he just changed his attitude, he used to be a totally different person. He wasn't as simple as that. Flashback again, Seol was yawning, her mouth looks like it's going to rip. She almost stayed all night because of an assignment and she lives too far away, it takes 2 hours just to commute she wish she could sleep, her friend ask about moving and she said that she want to. At that time, she knew he was full of himself at that moment.
A piece of cheese not tasty and not nutrious, Bora says that Seol should eat something she hasn't had before since Jung gonna buy dinner for Seol again. Euntaek says to asks Jung to Paris and buy escargot for her, Jung's family has a jet, Euntaek says of course it's not true.
Seol resting in the bed she thinks that rest is much better but it's Bora place, Seol haven't unpacked yet so there's no place to sleep. Bora asks Seol to take off her jacket because her bed will get dirty if she hasn't and asks Seol if she wants her help to unpack. Bora asks Seol about what did she eats and if she wants some curry, Seol said he have people who treat her dinner and Bora assumed that Seol was forced Euntaek again but Seol answered that it's Euntaek who making her pay. Bora thinks that Jung is interested in Seol but Euntaek thinks that Jung hardly date any pretty women on tv. Seol's hair is crap, she covers her freckles and her eyes are quite wide. Another students laugh that they were making fun of Seol again. Jung greets Seol in front of Euntaek and Bora. Euntaek said that it's her chance so go for it. Sangcheol is asking Jung if he really wears sheep leather meanwhile Seol is thinking of Jung's intention. Flashback to the first time they met since the drinking party, Seol greeted Jung and said that she should make a good impression, Jung greeted back with smile and Seol is blushing. She was asking if Jung going to building A, she have class in building B, Jung ignored her and called Kyunghwan to go to their class. Seol said that what more do she needs, they are not friends or anything. Everytime Seol greets Jung, Jung just greets back or ignored her and talk to other people. Back to the present, Seol is staring to Jung, she thinks that she is too single minded, Jung stares back to her and Seol reminded about last year, Jung said "Are you okay? Look out for yourself." "You should be careful. Lay low." Seol thinks that she should stop thinking, she sould keep in mind to not behave like last year and avoid him as much as possible. Euntaek's friend calls him to play basketball but he doesn't want to sweat and asks how about BBQ, Euntaek choose to join him and tell Bora and Seol that he can't go to cafe that day. Bora wants to take somebody else and pointed at Jung. Bora said that Nam Juyeon is taking a break, she used to act like Jung's girlfriend, and without her, Hanbyul is running wild. Jung calls Seol and Seol suddenly said that she will treat Bora to cafe, many female friends were following them and leaves Jung and his friends. There are only receipts on Seol's wallet and her back account is empty now. Seol fears that people will focus on her if Jung keeps on talking to her. Seol thinks that it might what Jung wants, a new way to make her life difficult.
Seol calls her mom and says that she unpacked everything and she did the laundry, she also took out the trash and told her to not worry. She doesn't want to face time and says that the guy next door bangs on the wall if she makes any sound. Seol is thinking of the strange behaviour of Jung again.
Seol thanking Jung for buying foods from convenient store, she usually can't afford to eat the foods. Quite expensive for Seol, each costs over 1 dollar. It's less than 10 dollar all together but not easy to eat all at once. Jung said he still wanted to buy Seol a nice meal but Seol said she doesn't want to be a burden and she is starving. Jung said Seol is sweet and Seol said thank you to him. Seol's heart is pounding and she looks around, people were glancing to Jung and saying that he is handsome. Seol is sure that there is another side of him. How Jung was talking, "You don't have money for the second round?", "Class is cancelled so what is everybody doing?". When it's come to food, Jung is paying, he is a crucial student of their major. At first, Seol thought people were using him or he was just stupid but Jung doesn't mind spending money for a group of people but Seol is pretty sure that he is never treated individuals personally. Seol is still confused of what kind of person Jung is, even if he is nice to her she feels like something disturbing. She have felt like that since the first time she met him about a year ago. Students were gathering to eat food in a restaurant and Sangcheol was asking Seol about how was her break. Back then she wasn't so depressed like she is now, she was a delightful student who just gotten back to school.
Chapter 3 : Sangcheol leaving Seol after introducing her to people, next to her is a freshman Kwon Euntaek. Seol is waiting for Bora but it's Jung who just came. Jung said he should have came earlier but his professor didn't let him go and he ran to there. Many students greeted Jung, Jung wears Bulgari watch, he is handsome and rich. A student said Seol doesn't know him because Jung had taken a break before she entered school, Seol asking if it's because he is been to army to the student. Seol and Jung both got back to school but they but they got different reactions. Sangcheol told Seol to say hello to Jung, Seol and Jung exchange hi to each other but then Jung ignores her to talk to Sangcheol about what professor said. Jung throw water to a female student who kept bothering him, Jung said he will clean the desk and told the female student to go to take care of herself
Chapter 4 : Jung calls the waiter to clean after his friend said to stop cleaning, he was also ask to more wet napkins. Jung and his friends talking about the joint meeting, Jung was late because he was talking to professor about that. Female students keep saying that Jung is gentle, seems so nice and he is the marrying type. Seol thinks that Jung spilled the water on purpose and he used other's wet naps to clean up and used his to clean his hands. Seol maybe thinking that way because he ignored her. Jung kept ignored her and her friends, Seol thought she saw Jung frowned, she was thinking if she was so sensitive. Seol went outside, Jung calls someone on the phone and answered to the person that they are almost done and it's fun and not bad. Jung was asking if that person did have dinner and told that person to not skip meals, Seol thinks that person must be his girlfriend and he can't be single with that face. Jung said to that person that there are many person there, nothing special, some are pathetic, Seol is thinking if she is overreacting
Back to the present, Jung asks Seol of how to eat convenient store triangle food, it's the same flavor so Seol exchanged his food to hers. Seol is so thankful to Jung, she thinks she can't eat expensive dish with Jung because it will upset her stomach. Jung said he will buy something better for her next time so that day doesn't count and he said that he had to go and told Seol to get home safe. Seol saw Jung's back as he walking and thinking if he is the same person, Seol is sure when he said pathetic, he meant Seol, she is also sure that he said more painful things behind her back after that so why is he saying that he will buy her dinner
Prologue : a woman warning Seol to be careful of men because in that year her misfortune is big enough, meeting wrong men will bring more misfortune to her. Seol paid 5 dollar to her while she worked hard for her part time job during holidays, she was asking to her friend on the phone about her friend's college academic but her friend avoid the question, they will be the same year next semester. Seol decided to be diligent student, she will study hard to get scholarship, she won't date she will only hang out with her friends
1 week later the students of her college gather and Jung was late
Ch 1 : After a year in college she could finally own her decision, she is going to take time off from school, her male friend wants her locker while her female friend wants her textbook. Seol took a break before, she longed for freedom but ended up working part time. Now she is gonna taking a break again, she should thinking of her age the time she graduates. Students take time off to earn tuition, Seol gets a small scholarship but it doesn't enough. Tuition is too much, her friends where thinking if only the college provided buffet in cafetaria or escalator instead of stairs. Seol exhausted because of Jung, she wants to complain to her friends but the friend of Jung calls them saying Jung will treating them on a pricy place. One of college student said Seol needs to get some fresh air if she needs. Seol told her mom about her decision and her mom beat her up. Seol wants to get a job experience life in society and travel, it's the same reason as before, her mom just wants her to graduate quickly. Tuition is also the reason, after going back to school Jung is always the top of their department. Seol tried hard to get a full scholarship but it just not possible. Jung isn't getting scholarship, her paper is missing before the professor could grade it. Seol is back to school, Jung would've gotten an A+ on the report. Everyone saw assistant collecting the paper, Jung isn't someone who would miss submitting a paper. Jung went to the bench where Seol is sitting, he was asking of what is she doing, whether she is listening to music and what about class. Seol's class is already over, Jung will buy her dinner suddenly and Seol answered right away.
Seol tells the assistant and the assistant calls the professor. Assistant tells that the professor says he'd take her assignment on monday, Seol complains how can she finish it within 3 days and the assistant says that is her problem. Jung appears and says sorry that he was busy and Juyeon made mistake, he asks her if she needs his help but someone needs Jung to translate. Seol says that she isn't interested in Jung ans she quit already but Juyeon starts cornering Seol, Jung suddenly appears with his friends and Juyeon wants to join him but he offers help to Seol. Back to present, Jung is in front of Seol and they are working for their assignment, he will take care for the rest. Jung bring convenient store foods and did a good job on peeling the triangle food this time. They were laughing together and when Jung looking at the wind, Seol feels like she is like falling for him, Sangcheol suddenly appears and Jung picking up his phone. Jung asks the person on the phone how is his/her feeling, that person asks him to come and Jung agree and asks Seol to stay there. Sangcheol asks Seol about Ayoung's number again.
