It's still f#cked up as hell xD There is not much to understand besides that Prince needs some proper therapy and have to learn how to communicate with someone he claim he wants around. So far it doesn't look much like a true love but just an obsession xD and obsession is a big no no. I know it is popular to romanticize toxic relationship in literature and don't get me wrong, I'm not judging, I, myself, am still reading this and other mangas like that, but it is important to recognize toxic patterns of behavior and not try to excuse them in characters we simply like. Maetel, as a character, is lucky that he’s the main lead and that Louis loves him back. He’s not really that different from Rafael if you think about it. He’s just one snapped thread of reason away from hurting Louis too. I mean, he already raped him.
