That manhwa is so damn funny
• I can’t even make up my mind about it, this is so messy, sometimes the events don’t even make sense, it’s just happening and you don’t really know why cause it has no consequences in the story, there’s some weird temporal ellipsis or they mention things that aren’t shown in the narration and you’re like wut ? Not fluid at all. the plot (what plot ?) I just feel like the author doesn’t even know where they’re going tbh, that’s the soap opera vibe for me
• Yet I loved that Omega-kun was (legitimately) pissed and didn’t forgave Keith after he kinda plot-twisted himself. Also the fact that he keeps blaming him and shoving it in his face chapters after chapters is satisfying af it’s like a therapy after all the yaoi I read where the guys bear with their partner’s toxic behaviors and forgive them easily.
Dunno, this is so messy yet I thought it would have been so much more cliche (don’t get me wrong the story is totally cliche but at least Omega-kun isn’t our usual victim.)
Ngl I’ll totally keep reading it
Im kinda surprised about all the negative comments
• I guess that wasn’t our average yaoi here, but damn that was refreshing ! A bit messy yet the characters were realistic. Inoue-san is a bit problematic flirting with this young guy yet he doesn’t cross the line and keep rejecting him.
• It could appear he didn’t make sense but.. I mean people in real life are like that too, sometimes our actions are contradictory because our reasons, desires, needs etc are also contradictory..
• I loved the fact that Inoue told Sunao in chapter 5 that it’d be just a painful youth memory for him but himself wouldn’t recover. It makes so much sense that he fears to be in love with such a young man, the age gap is nothing to take lightly and I get why he didn’t want to take the risk to be thrown away.
• I would have accepted it if it ended this way tbh.. The story in itself is good and that end would have been sad but realistic.. letting their almost love story into the fantasy and nostalgia..
• YET I’m happy they meet again when Sunao is finally an adult hahaha first of all it shows how strong his feelings were and also it gets rid of the moral issue that was bothering Inoue.
Im kinda disappointed it stopped there tho I wish we would have AT LEAST a whole chapter about them being a couple (not necessarily about the sex) but to see what is their dynamic now that Sunao is all grown up.
Anyway it sure has its flaws but I was charmed by the story and the slow pace.. the art style was super fine as well..
Probably because English isn’t my first language and that I’m not very familiar with Japanese habits / way of life during this era but unfortunately I think I couldn’t appreciate it fully.
But I really enjoyed the historical accuracy in the style, especially the haircuts, it gave a lot or credit to the story and since it’s Hidaka Shoko we’re talking about the style is as beautiful as always.
~ Tbh I didn’t expect it to be this good ! I usually don’t enjoy blackmailing and such, but this one has a really good dynamic.
~ Neither of them are being mistreated, (maybe the first sex scene is a bit problematic but I had read 100 times worse) and I like how they are equally bad to each other
~ the seme is just ლ(´ڡ`ლ) no kidding I love him his design is perfect and his personality so likable
~ and this is so funny !!!! Like seriously I love how it isn’t overly comedy oriented, it just has the right amount of fun and made me laugh out loud
~ the pace is smooth and I love how their relationship evolves naturally, it’s doesn’t seems forced or anything
≫ the scene when they hold hands omg (≧∀≦) ≪
Thank you so much for updating it ! ♡
