everything they do is for each other. The part about them being too greedy hits so hard bc its mrs jeon thats being too greedy. what seongrok and jeoh are fighting for is something that they deserve. im almost 100% certain jeoh would be content being working class if it meant him and seongrok would be free and left alone. Its mrs. jeon who wanted all the money and the power, so much so that she lost the one man who wanted to love her. its HER greediness that lost her what she really wanted and its that pride, that unwillingness to accept defeat, that will ultimately be her downfall.

my children are friends again! now he needs to make up w ri-in and ill be at peace

Might take a bit linger with ri-in since she genuinely felt angry and disgusted, but i hope she can see he’s really trying to get better and slowly forgives him at her own pace, tho it’ll most likely never be like before again since he manipulated her and chan-il and expressed that to her in a very shocking manner

mr yeon can be callous and definitely is an asshole but he isnt downright evil or despicable and i feel like that balance is hravely missing in dtoties like this. too often we habe to watch the mc be downright abused or his feelings completely trampled on before we get a love story. like if u are going to right a redemption arc, PLEASE leave room for redemption
I think that we are now moving more into reincarnation/past lives lovers. When the boulder showed lee yeom tying that string to kihoon, the paper went on to read that doing this has consequences. assuming that this isnt some short and cute story, them confessing this (kinda) early, means that the main conflict lies somewhere else. maybe the real drama in the story will come from reprecussions of past little yeom's actions. maybe kihoon's bizzare fortune is one of those consequences.
