Do you have them marked as now reading or already read? If so I don't know… otherwise just do it and you will get the update notifications

me too so I downloaded a manga reading app so every time a manga is updated I see it on my phone.

I use MangaZone but there are also MangaFox, Manga Reader, etc... Just search manga in the App Store or Google Play. They all show the recent updates on the main page.

The manga that you have marked "read" or "reading" probably have not been updated so you haven't got any notifications. If you want to look at the manga that has just been uploaded/updated than click on your preferred genre and click "Sort by: Update date"
