The Mc needs to be more confident, for me right now she is too sensitive and scared.
If you want a unrealistic overly confident mc read literally any other story. Just go. This is far more based on long suffering abuse and mental health so it's a far better portrayal then the stupid power mcs everyone simps over.
She grew up in an environment where her self-esteem was crushed to nonexistence, was scorned by her father and half-sister all her life, was forcibly sacrificed, and now she's aware that there is a possibility that the fate of everyone and everything rests upon her shoulders because of the power the ancient god (who only answers to her) wields --- of course she's going to be sensitive and scared (that's PTSD for you). If she suddenly became confident just because she has this new power, then that's even weirder and would break her character, turning her into another generic Mary Sue female webtoon MC#69.

Oh, there's definitely nothing wrong with stating your opinion. But if your opinion is causing you to not enjoy a well-written story, either (1) it's misguided or (2) it's not your cup of tea, and that's perfectly fine. If you're really annoyed with her, why not drop the series altogether instead of being annoyed at her?
i love this, obviously i do love my OP female leads with a lot of unrealistic behaviours and habits, etc. but i can always appreciate such a well written and realistic story as this. the character is beautifully written and she isnāt just suddenly switching up and being overly confident and calm and levelheaded bc she now has power and she is away from her abusive household. she still pertains and has these understandable fears, moments of confusion when people show her warmth and kindness and trust issues. i do hope she does eventually gains confidence or begins to put more trust in her self, and value herself more bc she truly does deserve it. and ofc i do not wish for this to be a sudden fix, i hope it is a decent length process in which she just slowly learns to believe in herself, love herself and to value herself. i cant wait to see where this story goes, itās a great start and i, hoping it continues to stay strong!!
