Yuma is actually not blood related to his mother and that's the twist. In that moment Ibuki finally realised even without being blood related he can be a good father for Maika just like how Kasumi is to Yuma. Honestly that's such a wonderful twist to me

There's nothing much about the mother except she was known to love to brag whenever someone doesn't know about ML HOWEVER she didn't brag about ML as time goes on. She seems focused on her careers rn and you will rarely see her since they focused more on interaction between main couple and side couple.
She was an alcoholic and the attention Ian got for his good deed helped her turn around her life and now she's maybe a bit too insane about Ian

I dont like that her reason for quitting is, that her son gained fame. She directed her addiction toward something else.
