Wouldn't be the reason for him crying be because that's one of the last things his mother said to him before she died? It would make sense he would think she would be leaving him because his mom left him after saying that too. I'm reading so many stories so I have no idea how his mom died exactly in this one
I think his mum died cause she became weak after giving birth to him (cause he has strong mana) and I think he thought that he was making her feel better by warming her up cause she was ācoldā (already dead) but instead he uhhh lit the house on fire and burned his mumā¦
