The characters are so well written. MCs reactions are almost scarily realistic and it really makes this manhwa stand out. Some hella plot and character building.
okay but the fact that mc is really trying to learn from his mistakes and be super considerate of Lizzie is really cute :( I like that he really just wants to make her happy, even if it means letting her go
Okay take this with a grain of salt, I’m not entirely sure if this is true but this is how I interpreted it. (Also I may have posted this already lmao I thought it didn’t go thru the first time)

I only saw a few panels of the raws for the next chapter, but Shuli’s knight (forgot his name) is the one who finds her body and recovers the green brooch Jeremy had given Shuli. He is kneeling in those last few panels perhaps just because he is presenting the brooch and Jeremy misunderstood and thought he was the ‘sinner’ the guards are talking about. So maybe the sinner hasn’t been shown yet?? But there’s also a chance the knight is probably falsely accused of her death if he was seen at the crime scene? Unless the guy who is kneeling in the last few panels is not the knight, tho I think it is??
As for Nora, in her past life he is ordered by the emperor to investigate her death, that’s all I think? Pretty sure it’s just to show that Shuli didn’t know Nora in her past life and wasn’t able to give him love/care + convince his parents not to be shitty towards him, so it’s also about how Nora turns out without her in his life.

it feels off that ml gives so much resistance to her being the princess in a different body but then she finds the gem and he’s all of a sudden loving her so dearly. I know that accepting her as the princess is one thing, but if your past lover died and came back to you in a different form, wearing a different face, would you immediately start 100% loving them again once they proved they were your past love? I think it would’ve been more natural for him to slowly ease themselves back into loving each other. But I dunno you do you ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
I don’t hate the ml (but I’m not particularly attached to this webtoon so i feel mostly neutral for all characters, hate stand in princess tho) but it’s pretty sketchy that he doesn’t apologize for interrogating her and putting a gun up to her head?? An ‘im sorry’ wouldn’t hurt. Maybe it’s coming soon? Or is that being too enthusiastic? Anyways no hate cause making a webtoon is not easy and it’s not like I’m spending money on this but that’s my hot take thanks for coming to my Ted talk

It was short and sweet and there wasn’t too much drama, which I honestly really enjoyed! I find that sometimes manhwas can get frustrating because the characters can’t communicate. A lot of them would be shorter in length if the main leads were able to actually talk to each other, so this one was pretty refreshing!
I got so much second hand embarrassment from the first few chapters so I was hoping it would mellow out and it seems like a it has? Honestly this is a cute webtoon with cute art style but the way the plot moves seems very predictable ... I was hoping the blonde girl would end up being actually friendly but maybe we’ll get some character development from her later on
She is just jealous because she was used to be the only girl with four handsome boys.. I watched the kdrama and she will reflect later on..
Okay so for the missing panels in chapter 9 to 10, basically Violet is unlocked from the closet and immediately goes to see Winter, who is in a meeting with some dudes. She says something like ‘oh I wish you had come to see me when you came back’ because if he did then maybe she would’ve gotten out of the wardrobe sooner. She asks to speak with him privately about something and he says it can wait. But she pleads with him, tells him ‘it’s now or never’. (I’m just paraphrasing I don’t remember the exact wording) and he shakes her off and is like ‘no I’m busy talk to me afterwards’ and they never talk. As she’s leaving to the party she walks past a gun display in their house, which then leads into her trying to commit su!cide and then comes chapter 10.
Wow I really want the ml to suffer. I want him to hurt like the way he hurt her. Can’t wait until he uncovers all of the shit that’s been happening to her and maybe they’ll have a proper conversation.
