I don’t mind have repeat plots and shit but why do they copy the character design for solo leveling too???? Like so many dungeon/leveling skill webtoons have the mc look exactly like Sung Jinwoo?! And they all have a little sister they have to take care of and then make her weirdly sexualized.
I was arguing about the same thing today .
Almost all in that genre is a copy paste from solo leveling.
I understand i beg give us some different character designs or even more woman as MCs would be great
But i can recommend:

I haven't read Solo Leveling, but I know it. I didn't know the character design has been copied tho, not good.
It’s super common unfortunately, and what sucks is I loveeeeee Zero to Hero tropes and now lots of new ones are duds cause they’re just copies of Solo basically.
Still think this is cheesy and cute but definitely feels like they’re rushing to the ending.

Mary Ellen is an ignorant character, I don’t understand how she could be written as the best friend of Kaitlyn and then dates the man who wants to destroy the business her bff worked so hard to rebuild. Logically no. Especially since Mary Ellen was kept in the loop the whole time Kaitlyn was helping Cole fix up the place. The whole “you don’t understand him” thing was so dumb cause she went on one date and you know his true character?
I’m glad things worked out in the end but still ruined her as a character for me.
