Why would the teacher even make him read in front if the class when they know he is shy.
That's what some teacher do~ they said to teach you to be brave and to teach you to be confident to talk in front of a lot of people bla bla bla shit like that. I experienced it myself, when I flat out says 'I can't..' they said that it was just an excuse and I should face my fear, forcing me to keep reading even tho i stutter and got mocked.
