I feel as though chapter 74 was the best way I could personally get closure with this story. I didn’t expect much with a one off character but after reading his dialogue and taking it in, I cried. Though a piece of fiction his words were anything but. The stories we come across serve not just as a tool for entertainment but also reality checks,
EURGHHHH I like the fact that they got back together on the simple basis of still liking each other. Sometimes relationships need to stand still in order to take in the moment and learn to communicate and forgive each other. Try your best to grow rather than fall back and simply listen and see.
The most beautiful aspect of this story is the fact that the author also gives depth to Kael’s character.
As his pov episodes and scenes progressed I have related more and more to him. It’s very important to see the trope of first love break because in reality we almost never end up with our first loves. The way hestia helped Kael navigate his way through the darkness on his own terms also helped with the understanding and sympathizing of kael’s character. The subject of love and its different starts and endings are important to see. The realization of your first love, the realization of betrayal, and the realization of the world moving forwards with your next love.
This latest chapter certified Karl as one of the best ml’s to ever do it; charming, realistic, and just as equally as devoted and impassioned to their counterpart as the female lead.
Hestia is also a a beast in a category of its own. Can’t wait to see how this ends.

Poor dora but poor Jack. He’s also terribly alone and when he thought he found comfort and possibly refuge (Dora), her circumstances and his mother lead to him losing such refuge. Of course Dora shouldn’t be placed in such a burdensome position but it was mostly just psychological emotions that lead to the place Jack and Dora are in now. It’s so sad to see Jack try and talk to Dora to understand her but Dora pushes him away because she genuinely believes Jack is somehow living a better life even though he has a mother who literally think of him as her late husband (his father).
They’re both victims and I wish more people talked about not just dora but Jack
