Surprised to come across such an enjoyable manhwa after such a long time which is yet to be ruined by poor translations but I can't get over the fact that if her grandmother is so powerful, and only taking her name is enough so that no one would mess with the MC, then how could her stepmother and stepsister even dare, let alone get away, with making her life miserable for so long?? And it's not like she wasn't in touch with her grandmother either.
I dont think the stepmother can make her miserable.... she's been mistreated but i think she retaliated everytime and see she can even go out and flirt with a knight and dump him too...i think the only thing hurt her is the fathers lack of care but even his father lost meaning to her

Man, you gotta respect the ML for being blunt and not being pointlessly nice to his ex and giving rise to misunderstandings. You don't usually see that in shoujo
True. But then again most shoujos don't have MLs who are like MADLY in love w FL (especially so straightforwardly like Kusakabe). They have more of the cool types, tsundere types, stoic types, basically, majority of the time the girl is doing most, if not all, of the chasing.
Sometimes kusakabe is like ..... yandere vibes ,,,,,,, but I do love how he won't allow any room for misunderstandings and leave Iroha to think things on her own/make her own assumptions because HE won't tell her straught out.
