I can't even enjoy the smut her limbs look like little sticks next to his gicantic arms and legs and don't even get me started on his bazooka sized shlong it's so fucking ridiculous what's up with manhwa authors and especially straight mature manhwa authors and their weird ass proportions have they never seen an actual human being before?

There's really something about manhwas or really any piece of media that chooses to make their slave characters antagonists that rubs me the wrong way, Eclis was basically treated like a beast from the beginning, to be "tamed" by Penelope so that he would be entirely devoted to her, I get that she was all alone and needed protection but there were so many ways to do this without making him a slave who HAD to do everything she wanted, and then she just tosses him and tells him to kill himself and like I know that he's the one who brought Yvonne here and that he's unhealthily obsessed with Penelope but that's actually my point the author didn't have to make him do all that and turn him into a villain

Wdym why blame the author , maybe because they're the one who wrote the story lmao, why would you want me to blame fictional characters? This isn't about Penelope being flawed it's about authors creating characters who are slaves and treating them like wild animals, I really don't see how him being a slave and being treated this way makes the the story so interesting, actually please tell me what exactly is so interesting about that

What are you even saying… “It’s about authors creating characters who are slaves and treating them like wild animals” and “being treated this way” what way? You’re acting like Penelope abused Eclis when she had him. She literally treated him nicely, even if it was for her own needs.
And back to your og comment “A slave who HAD to do everything she wanted”when was that? Penelope gave Eclis so much freedom compared to when he was an actual slave. When did she order him around or treat him harshly? The only time she got mad was when he brought the og fl home, Other than that, she treated him with care. all she wanted in return was his love.
I find it interesting because it shows how Eclis’s unhealthy, dark obsession was created. Not because of him being a slave or whatever ur on about. His twisted unhealthy love for Penelope and how she was too focused on the game to realise until it was too late is what makes it interesting.
It’s cool when system/romance fantasy manhwas don’t stick to the same fluffy generic system romance tropes and instead actually have a complex story with dark sides. In fact, I don’t even know any other manhwas like this one which makes it better and so unique
If you can’t handle small things like morally grey characters or dark plots, then why are you even reading manhwas that dont have fluff tagged? Not every manga or manhwa is going to be morally perfect. And you don’t need to bash authors for writing something different.

The thing is, by the point where she meets him, in my opinion, it was already a bit late, he had already lived that life, he was already a bit broken, killed a bunch of people, probably a horrible childhood. And yes, Penelope could have done more, she could have cared more for him and maybe he wouldn't have turn out like this? But she also wasn't in the best position to help him, and he clearly understands that his decisions are not good and what he's doing will never make Penelope happy, but in his kind of childish thinking this is what he "can" do? He's very selfish, and I understand why, he sufered so much, and he had to put himself first ti survive what he went through, but that doesn't mean he's right in doing what he is doing and what he will do... There was no way for her to save him, she doesn't and didn't have the power to do so, unfortunatelly

"So much freedom compared to when he was a slave" lmao honey he was still a slave when he was with her, her allowing him a little bit of "freedom"( which btw again he was still a slave so freedom where exactly) doesn't change their dynamic of master and slave.
Also please read my comments properly before answering smh I'm talking about the way the author decided to handle Eclis' character, from the way he was brought in the story to his relationship with Penelope and ultimately the end of his arc, Idk where exactly you saw me criticizing Eclis' morals but go off I guess.
I'm actually a big fan of morally grey characters but that's clearly not what Eclis is, guess he could've been if the author had chosen to give him some kinda depth but no they just turned him into some nasty stalker who's one and only motive is to keep his master close to him whatever it takes, he's just your regular side antagonist and the fact that he is a slave and is the one who has to suffer that fate is weird af. I guess it's not as bad as Rashta in the Remarried Empress but it's still weird and if you're can't see the issue with this I don't see the point of this conversation.

Yeah that doesn't excuse the way he was talking about her on the phone with his friend also this isn't something he just discovered about himself, all those years they were dating he knew what she wanted and yet decided that he didn't have to come clean about this whole thing, he didn't even try to hold onto her when she broke up with him, and supposedly didn't even know he hurt her until she spoke up and now that he knows he just wants her to give him a second chance? "I'm sorry I was selfish" nah dude you're still being selfish you can't drop all this shit on her and hope she'll just take you back that's not how this works let her be happy and move on

We get it she's the main antagonist but forget her I need to see her "friends" suffer sure she framed Remillia and everything but they all happily enabled her, it's just like Remi's freakshow of a brother said they weren't brainwashed, they did this to hurt Remi because they thought she was jealous and it made them feel good about themselves so fuck them and I won't be satisfied untill I see them all crying on their knees begging for their lives

I used to feel bad for the boyfriend but wth is his deal exactly? Your "boyfriend" doesn't even seem remotely interested in you why the hell are you asking him to choose between you, a random dude that he's somehow dating now, and his longtime friend that he is obviously very close to? He's asking for it atp
The seme kinda sucks like why are you going out of your way to do all of that with him but still refuse to put a fucking label on your relationship make up your damn mind dude, and the nerve to chuckle as if this wasn't a serious matter he's so dumb, MC deserves better
Also did the author forget that Mc is supposed to be dying? Because if it weren't for the fact that I started reading this not too long ago I would've probably forgotten too the guy looks perfectly healthy to me
