Literally, the same thing could be said about the best He knows that he’s in love with his best friend. He’s running to get married because his friend won’t confess first as well reaching out on hold with the hopes of doing something while in a relationship and the metaphorical plate you’re talking about wasn’t what he ordered and wasn’t meant for him but long to somebody else but he’s just supposed to eat that food because it looks appetizing why would he steal somebody else’s food? Especially knowing that a person is starving for their food and they’re only offering to you out of desperation that you’ll say no
I'll still continue reading it tho since I've invested so much time already. Also, it's not as bad as some stories ive read that are also cringe. At least this story is still following the plot.
But that goodbye scene (ch. 24) looks like the last time he'll see the family. I feel like once he arrives to the town, he'll hear that they got attacked and maybe one of the children is the only survivor.

When you're too prideful, it's hard to admit that you're wrong. That's why Diana keeps denying her powers are failing, that what she did was wrong and that she's a loser. I hope she gets hit by a reality check soon, or she'll be too unredeemable to be saved. She might end up doing something illegal and that would be the worse scenario.
She's already unredeemable, she knew poor people were asking for her gift to help them and she deemed herself too highly to dirty her hand dealing with them, she's a bad person through and through.
