I have struggled with the first volumes and almost gave up on it. But I'm glad I didn't. It's definitely one of the better mangas around. Despite all the logical errors, one encounters here and there. After a slow and almost boring low-level beginning, the pace levels up constantly towards a frantic finale. And although the story isn't totally original and you constantly have the feeling of having seen the concepts somewhere else, the mix of mystery, action and romance is what makes it a really enjoyable experience.
I don't really get the ending, and I would surely prefer another one. But it was on a level to move me to tears.
When Takase-chan finally gets the chance to take his sweet revenge on a former class mate Iwamoto Rinko, he finally realizes the reason for his punishment back then. Discovering her true feelings helps him to overcome his mental blockade.
It is a cute little short story about human feelings and growing up with some decent art work.
