Wow, I really like the extra short story at the end of volume one. Much better than the main content of this volume ^^

I wonder what really happened to his master.

This crap in chapter 19 about the camera is so annoying. I'm really, really, seriously pi**ed. It was so obvious from the start what will happen. I was thinking the whole time: No, this is crap of the worst type, she won't do it. She can't do it. And then she does it. What the hell. Does the author think anyone will think this is funny? I already hated some of the half assed slapstick jokes in this manga. But this is so beyond stupidly annoying, it plain hurts.
Sorry for the rant. Now I feel better again and can continue reading chapter 20.

I like the end. I was really anxious at one time during the Okinawa period, when I thought the author ran out of ideas or simply lost the nerve to continue. But he still managed to come around and deliver a nice and satisfying ending. Now I can finally read "Black Label" which was waiting on my book shelf all this time ^^.

Just in case you, like myself, miss the deeper meaning of Tanabata and the references to the Milky Way and rain in the context of this story, just make sure to look it up ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanabata). Knowing this meaning, even if after I finished reading the story, opened my eyes to some of the more obscure parts of it.

Does anyone know of a source for a scanlation with better quality? While I think, this one is enough to enjoy the story, I would like to get some more of the nuances if possible.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed that Aizawa in "Second Bloom" got the boy in the end. She didn't deserve it. I feel kind of sorry for his girlfriend from Nagoya.

I think somewhere I've seen something about Sapporo. Also the amount of snow at Christmas seems to indicate Hokkaido. But Yoh came there by local train from Tokyo, as he says. So I don't really know. What do you think?

I don't get it. But then, I don't know the series this one apparently refers to.

This one is really great. Don't expect a lot of a story, though. It's all about feelings, amotions, hardships of life and the anxiety for the future. The mangaka really pulls it off, despite there beeing almost no coherent story at all. It's almost like all the feelings are hidden "between the lines". Seldom have I experienced so much emotions expressed so powerfully on so few pages. Now I have to read Okado Tatsuya's other works as well.
